Our experience with CSE from start to finish was 10/10. Chris and Elena are incredibly organized, communicative, and responsive. They always answered all of our questions (and I asked many!) Alec, Alex, Savannah, and the rest of the band members rocked it all night. One of the first things guests commented on about our wedding was how amazing the band was. One of our guests commented that they wish they could cancel their DJ and fly CSE to their wedding in Portugal because they loved them so much. Extremely talented musicians for an awesome price, which make a huge difference when wedding planning. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

We had the biggest mess with our Tent company and the team at B_entertained was already our DJ and come to find out they are also a rental company as well. Apparently the original tent company overbooked and they were able to bring a tent, dance floor and all the tables and chairs as well as the linens and napkins. Then the DJ did an amazing job! We had an outdoor ceremony in April and wanted to include live musicians to add a wholesomely romantic element to our ceremony that we didn’t feel music from a speaker would provide. The musicians were talented and played very well. They had a large repertoire of music for us to choose from that made it easy to curate a list of songs we really enjoyed to be played while our guests were arriving and during our processional/recessional walks.
