“We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

“Mario is the best. He is a true professional, has great knowledge and experience, and is overall a great person to work with. We especially appreciate Mario’s punctual communication and work ethic. We had about 5 Zoom conversations with him, and we were able to email or text him at any point. Watching Mario play around with song remixes and blending one song into another was impressive. Leading up to the wedding day, he was very organized. Keep in mind, on wedding day, your DJ is also an MC, a coordinator, a hype man, and a problem solver. Above all, Mario was the perfect guy for the job on wedding day. He provided the heart beat for an overall, beautiful and action-packed day. 100% worth every penny. His set up is sleek and high quality, and you can tell he aspires for that. No wires showing, perfect sound quality, a clean and modern looking DJ table. He also has a backup plan for everything including multiple ways to play music and back up speaker systems (which were not needed, but it is still thoughtful). Most importantly, Mario has a great attitude, and has the charisma needed for such a special occasion. Would recommend Mario to absolutely everyone.”

“Believe it our not music was the MOST important thing to me as a bride. Ive had the privilege of working with Atmosphere Productions for many years now as I am a wedding photographer myself. One thing I always knew was, when I’d be working with Sam as a vendor, it would be a stress-free, well coordinated and energetic wedding. His pure love for music is infectious and even on the days when I was exhausted from working for 12 hours, you’d always catch me out on the dance floor if he was the dj. So when I choose him for my own wedding, it felt like a no-brainer. One thing I made clear up front is that a lot of our music might not be typical and that we wanted the music to literally be the soundtrack to the day through our eyes. Music has been a BIG part of our relationship and we wanted that to be part of our wedding just as much. When I worried that my choices in music might be too obscure or not even available- Sam assured me he had everything we choose and more. He understood the “feeling,” we wanted and simply took our suggestions and filled the rest with his picks which we loved since he is the expert! The preparation prior to the wedding was what surprised me the most. Being a wedding photographer I had NO idea what was involved for the DJ. This was very eye opening and Sam took the time to sporadically check in, throughly go through each step of the day and easily accommodated our not-so-traditional families. He asked questions and mapped things out so that by the time the day came I KNEW Sam had everything he needed and even when a couple things changed that day he took care of it like a rockstar. All the care, time and energy Sam provided for our day made him the best choice and his rates match his quality ten times over. “What a great experience! Ahead of our wedding, Sandro was very professional, direct, and easy to work with. His song catalog was expansive, which allowed us to select music across a range of genres and artists to perfectly suit both our Ceremony and Happy Hour. We provided our song selections along with specific directions for entrances and exits during the Ceremony, all of which were executed flawlessly. Sandro’s performance was excellent and set the perfect ambiance for the entire event. Sandro’s electric violin performance was ideal for our outdoor November wedding ceremony (acoustic instruments can be sensitive to cold temperatures, and many performers have restrictions because of this). The sound quality was amazing, and the fact that he was entirely self-sufficient with his equipment meant there were zero complications coordinating with our DJ or other vendors. I would highly recommend working with Sandro—he was a true professional and a fantastic addition to our wedding day.”

“Stephanie, aka DJ Stardust, DJed our wedding in June of 2023. Neither of us are huge music people, so we were looking for a DJ who could run with minimal direction, and Stephanie was exactly that! She was very organized and communicative leading up to the wedding day. She had a great form that we filled out with all the details you could possibly imagine in terms of songs we wanted/didn’t want/when, and she executed exactly as we expected. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were in three different rooms/spaces, and Stephanie seamlessly moved through providing appropriate music (and emceeing) at each. The one special thing we asked her to do was coordinate a “photo dash” (where everyone sitting at each table comes up to the dance floor for a group photo within the time limit of one song), and she did it very well. She accidentally skipped a table at one point, but rather than making a big deal about it, she joked about it and everyone laughed. The photo dash was one of the most talked-about things after our wedding. Something unique that our venue offered was the chance for DJs to plug into a high-end speaker system they had installed for a small fee. We asked Stephanie to do this, and at first she was hesitant because she didn’t want to be using equipment she wasn’t familiar with day-of (understandably!). Of her own volition, she reached out to our venue and coordinated a time where she could go see the equipment and practice setting up to make sure it would work with her equipment and just generally feel it out. We really appreciated her going above and beyond in this way, and the day of the wedding went off with no issues at all.”

“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“We contacted Mark with a request to DJ our wedding that we quickly planned in less than 4 months. He readily jumped in to help make our day special. He offered helpful suggestions and was always enthusiastic about our plans. He made a special trip out to our wedding venue to familiarize himself with the grounds. The day of the wedding it was extremely hot, but he kept everyone going with the upbeat music. We had a wonderful experience.”

“DJ Rubin and David W. were both amazing! David was very accommodating and has a vision in capturing what he wants. The package was reasonable and it was beyond everything we expected and more. DJ Rubin was praised by not just us but by all the family there for being engaging and being able to blend both old classics with new modern Pop music along with EDM and a little bit of DnB near the end of the night. As a fellow raver, he understood what we wanted and was very thoughtful in his song selection. He was also teaching people how to dance on the dance floor to keep the crowd engaged, participating and enjoying themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if our family wants to hire him and his team in future events because of how unforgettable the reception was for our wedding. For those who want a team who crafts your needs into something special and unique and gets everyone talking about the experience, definitely hire DJ Rubin and David W!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Going into our wedding, our main request of our DJ was to keep people on the dance floor as much as possible throughout the night, and Herbert certainly delivered. Guests of all ages danced the night away and one of our friends even split his pants open from dancing so hard! Herbert did an excellent job of integrating our requests and music tastes with the ebb and flow of the ceremony/dinner/dancing portions of the evening. He was incredibly easy to work with and very communicative throughout the whole process!”
