He was a professional, his app is amazing and helped guide Megan and Brandon with how to select songs all the way through the preceremony to the end of the reception. There was even a place to provide their comments or special memories for particular songs, so that Jay could share. The photo booth was a huge hit too! What was most important to me was that everyone loved the music and Jay and commented during and after the wedding with how great he was and the music. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”

“DJ Neal was an amazing choice for our recent wedding at the Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA. From the beginning of the wedding process, DJ Neal was friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. The transitions between songs were so smooth and well executed. Additionally, he was a wonderful and well-spoken MC for our event. We really appreciated him for being part of our big day! “Where to start - Josh (DJ Topedo) is an extremely personable and professional person, first of all. His introduction, process, meetings, etc. were all extremely seamless, made us feel comfortable, really got to know who we are and what we were looking for, and generally a smooth experience from start to finish. We wanted a DJ who would actually mix tracks and take our inputs for song selections and preferences seriously and stick to it - and DJ Topedo delivered! From the App platform that is used to help provide timeline details, to song selection via streaming platforms, to even us requesting to mix in video game/pop culture sound bytes into the tracks later in the night - it was a super intuitive way to provide this input, and he guided us through it all (and reviewed multiple times with us). It's so nice to have that level of organization when it comes to something as intricate as your wedding day-of timeline and making sure the right songs are playing at the right times. This also goes for the MC aspect of DJ-ing, which Josh was flawless in - even last-minute adjusting the wedding party introduction order due to a mixup on our end. We also loved how DJ Topedo offered so many options for uplighting, video vs. photo booths (we went with the video booth), and even a videographer (which we opted for). He really does offer an all inclusive turnkey package for whatever you're looking for, it really gives you peace of mind. All his equipment and setup is top notch, clean, and it was a totally hands-free experience the day-of. Additionally, we opted for DJ Topedo specifically to DJ our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier. If you're looking for the best DJ in the DC area, DJ Topedo is it.”

“Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. There was one particular transition between two songs that was the best we've ever heard, and the crowd LOVED it. We’re over a month out from the big day and people are still telling us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to.
