What do you imagine your wedding to be like? Imagination is a nice gift we have. It helps us building our identities and shaping our individual uniqueness. Imagining carries a degree of anticipation, depending on our past experiences and who we are, of how something that hasn't happened yet is going to be when it actually happens. Like traveling to a place where we've never been before and we take photos of its landscapes and people living there: we tend to capture in those photographs how we had imagined that place. A wedding is a destination in the journey of life, perhaps the most important one.

Hi, I'm McKenna! The person behind the camera and a hopeless romantic. I describe my photography style as candid, romantic, and timeless. I started 1828 Collective in 2016 after I realized that capturing relationships and telling love stories was my passion. Four years later I'm so in love with my job that I often forget I'm working. “We were recently married in June and had McKenna as our photographer and absolutely LOVED her work!! First off, communication was so easy throughout the whole process. She was so sweet and accommodating to everything. We did our engagement photos with her and she drove all the way from Charlotte to Duke! Leading up to the wedding, we had a few phone calls to plan logistics and she was so organized it make the whole process so easy!
