Your wedding flowers should do more than decorate a space—they should tell your story. At Peterson's Patch, I create nature-inspired floral designs that evoke emotion and transform meaningful moments into unforgettable memories. Every couple deserves to feel supported, understood, and confident that their vision is in trusted hands. Tara did such a beautiful job on our wedding florals - I seriously can't recommend her enough! She was so great to work with from start to finish. She completely understood our vision, and she created something even more beautiful with her arrangements than I could even imagine. Her beautiful centerpiece arrangements really elevated our guest tables, and I didn't want to let go of my bouquet the entire day. I can't thank her enough for her beautiful work, and how incredibly accommodating she was the week of our wedding.

Rudbeckia Florals
Rating: 5.0 (18 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Cobalt, CT

There’s a reason we’re drawn to flowers. It’s the same reason we’re drawn to the mountains, the sea and everything in between. Hi! I'm Rebecca, owner of Rudbeckia Florals. With a lifelong admiration for nature, Rudbeckia florals is an ode to this. Designs give into the will of each stem and petal to create arrangements lead by shape and texture.

Awarded Best of Zola
By the time I reached out to Rudbeckia Florals I was feeling overwhelmed by wedding planning. Our wedding had a celestial theme so I was debating if I even wanted flowers. Rebecca emailed me a mockup with a thoughtful, detailed description of all of the elements and how they could tie into the theme. I was so impressed with the effort and creativity. Then she the quote and it was within our budget! The bouquets turned out beautiful and I got a lot of compliments on them. Rebecca was so easy to work with. I don't know much about flowers so I put a lot of trust in her creative vision and expertise- it completely paid off!

We hope you will choose to celebrate the environment when you celebrate your special day by choosing our Connecticut-grown flowers. I treat the flowers with preservatives to help them last for your special day, rendering them non-organic.

Awarded Best of Zola
Zoe and Gabby did the florals for my wedding in June 2024. All of the florals were absolutely stunning. I was absolutely obsessed with my bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. They used my pinterest board to truly create the bouquets of my dreams. Everyone in the reception were commenting on the table florals as well. Zoe and Gabby were so easy to work with. I had a ton of questions about different options such as bud vases vs. compote bowls, hanging florals, arch florals and more. They were both so patient with me while I figured out what I wanted. I also changed my vision from when we first spoke and they were so easy about the changes. I really loved supporting a local, women owned business. I also loved that all of the flowers were grown locally. I couldn't recommend Sterling Flower Farm enough.

The second I stumbled upon Jakki’s work, I knew I had to work with her. I even joked that we’d have to change our wedding date if she wasn’t available that weekend! From our very first call, I was blown away by how deeply she understood our vision. Honestly, even better than we could articulate it ourselves. She walked us through what was in season and had such an incredible eye for detail. It was such a relief to work with someone we trusted so fully. Beyond florals, Jakki even referred us to a few of our other amazing vendors—she became someone whose opinion I truly valued throughout the planning process. Welcome to Painted Gardens! Shannon, who is often hidden behind a big bouquet of flowers, is the owner and head designer of PG. Although her background is as a mixed media artist, She has always worked in horticulture and is proud to be a first generation farmer alongside her husband Justin. Her experience as a grower made floristry a natural, artistic progression. Since opening PG, her passion has evolved into distinctive, unique, eclectic, garden style designs. Painted Gardens would not be possible without her husband Justin's support and hard work taking care of our farm. Dream team since 2015!

You only have to tell her something once and she will never forget it! She provides suggestions with your budget in mind, and makes sure that your specific vision is brought to life. She provided thoughtful suggestions for our big day, like a custom chalkboard sign for our cocktail hour, greenery through the lights in the barn, gorgeous arrangements by the fireplace for cocktail hour, and candlesticks that she provided throughout the reception area. Shannon listened carefully to our preferences and didn't miss a single detail, walking through the venue with us weeks before to brainstorm stunning details. The final product was incredible - high quality florals at an extremely fair price! We got so many compliments on the florals in particular! All thanks to Shannon! BLOOM. Creative Floral & Events
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Cobalt, CT

BLOOM. Creative Floral & Events is a boutique floral and event design studio located in Northeast, CT, serving counties in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We create seasonal, garden-inspired floral arrangements, using only the freshest flowers and unique blooms and ingredients responsibly sourced from local flower farmers and gardens from all over the world. Drawing inspiration from your ideas, your unique style, and the venue you have chosen, we work closely with you and the team of professionals you have hired to implement your special day to help you achieve, big and small, the wedding of your dreams.

Tammie made our wedding a dream. We love flowers and knew we wanted them to be a showstopper during our big day, and from our very first meeting we knew that Tammie would create organic coastal garden magic for us. After describing our likes and dislikes and reviewing a moodboard with Tammie, she came back with a visual proposal that completely understood the vision we had, and the actual execution was even better than we could have expected. From my beautiful bouquet, to the ceremony arrangements, and the stunner of a floral chandelier, everything was absolutely perfect. However, nothing could really top the reception tables — it was like my Pinterest board come to life. The organic feeling growing arrangements, bud vases, ikebanas, and tapers that complimented our tablecloths were *chefs kiss*. I’m still not over everything! To top it all off, Tammie is so kind, warm, and lovely — she made dreaming up flowers one of the best and most enjoyable parts of this process. Thank you for everything, Tammie!

Farm Couture Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Cobalt, CT

Farm Couture Flowers is the design studio at Muddy Feet Flower Farm. I grow over 100 varieties of cut flowers from April through November and incorporate them into lush garden-style arrangements and bouquets.

Where to begin? Kristin is an artist. In the age of insane wedding Pinterest boards and over-planning every detail, we gladly handed the floral design and aesthetics over to Kristin. She uses her own flowers from her farm, so she's both local and sustainable, and if you're interested in supporting a small, woman-owned business, this is the way to go. We trusted her direction and expertise and it was the best decision we could have made. When we walked into our venue on the day-of, we were both floored. It was so much better than I could have even imagined; we received so many sincere compliments from guests. Our wedding photographer said he thought they were the best wedding flowers he'd seen. The floral design was original, organic, and creative, and the greenery was gorgeous. If you choose Kristin as your florist, trust her to lead the way. It'll be better than anything you could have imagined!

My daughter’s wedding was last Friday and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered flowers a few weeks before the wedding and got our first box no problem. The second box with the rest of the order was coming from a different location and UPS made a mistake with our address. If made me so nervous and I thought we are not going to have time to put flowers together but luis stepped in and resolved this situation very professionally. We got our flowers the same day and I can’t thank him enough for acting quickly and being incredibly helpful all they way. All of the flowers that came in looked great. The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

The quality of her work was truly professional, and the floral design was exactly what I had envisioned for our special day! She was also incredibly flexible, making last-minute changes to our order the month before the wedding without any issues. The setup and overall design was absolutely beautiful - especially our ceremony arch! I would highly recommend Fountainhead Floral Design to any couple looking for a reliable, talented, and customer-focused wedding florist!

It was so wonderful working with Rachel for florals for our wedding in July of 2024. My now-husband and I are originally from New England, but live in California now, so a lot of the planning was done over email. Rachel was super responsive to everything. I told her that I wanted “sunflowers, but not in a boho way”, and she was fully game to take on the challenge- and she for sure delivered! She designed exactly what I had in my head and made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined, and checked in with me every step of the way. I also appreciate that she has rentals for the “hardware” part of florals- because who just has a wedding arch and dozens of vases laying around? The flowers arrived on the day-of looking fresh and bright, and she even took a few of the extra flowers she had left over to scatter around on our guest book table. The clean up was quick and easy, and again she took care of all of the rental materials. We are so lucky that we found her!

viktoria was more than i could have ever hoped for in a florist! flowers are super important to me, and she was so tapped in and excited about my vision from day one! her work is absolutely jaw-dropping (for real, people would not stop talking about the flowers at my wedding), her prices are reasonable, and she’s such a delight as a person to boot! would book her again in a nanosecond, so glad i did!!!

I instinctually fell in love with the creativity of floral design and it wasn’t long until Willow & Grey was born. WG creates unique, romantic, and whimsical floral designs for weddings and events in New England. My desire is to curate florals that reflect and celebrate the beauty and magic in life’s most cherished moments.

Willow & Grey were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding florals. From our first conversation, their communication was open, clear, and easy - they immediately put us at ease with their relaxed and professional demeanor. When I had trouble picturing exactly what I wanted, the Willow & Grey team listened closely to my ideas and brought them to life in the most beautiful way. The end result was absolutely gorgeous - the flowers exceeded my wildest expectations and truly made our wedding day feel like a fairytale. I still look back at our pictures just to admire the incredible talent and craftsmanship of the Willow & Grey team. Our wedding would not have been the same without them, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Tracy is amazing!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, taking the time to really understand my vision, hopping on multiple calls, and even coming for a site visit. She brought my vision to life in a way that fit flawlessly with our overall design. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was about incorporating family heirlooms and relics, something that was a focal point in our wedding. She found the most beautiful ways to repurpose old vases, barrels, pots, and more into the arrangements, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful. Tracy was such a joy to work with. The flowers were gorgeous - our guests commented on them all night - and they lasted for over a week afterward, which made it even more special to keep enjoying them!
