Erica Mancini is one of our top artists at Music Dept. She is a Chicago-land native, born to Argentine parents, who moved to New York City in 2009. Erica has performed as an accordionist, vocalist, and percussionist internationally and throughout the US. Her diverse repertoire includes Jazz, New Orleans Music, French, and German/Bavarian/Oktoberfest. Erica also loves to perform well loved pop songs which audiences would never expect to hear on Accordion. These songs range from 80’s pop anthems to Amy Winehouse covers.

“As an entertainer I play guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and sing. I know literally thousands of songs in several different styles, including multi-cultural and international songs in several different languages, when called for. My skill set is very high because this is my full time profession and has been my whole life. Not just a hobby. However, I don’t come to an event with the intention of playing every style I know. Instead I spend time with you in advance to determine exactly which styles, which eras and which songs you’d love to hear. And then that’s what I play. Plus I take requests right on the spot!

Instrumentalists in this group include guitar, violin, guitarron, charranga, trumpet, vocalists, DANCERS and other performers added for special occasions. Their Repertoire Includes: All the standard Mexican and Ranchero selections plus other general Spanish and Latin music. Jason Nelson is a HIGH-ENERGY entertainer for all ages. Born and raised in Hillsborough, NJ, Jason Nelson quickly learned how to play the piano, saxophone, guitar, recorder, and harmonica, all before the age of ten. Jason graduated from the Rutgers Business School in 2017 with a B.S. in Marketing and a Certificate in Recording Arts from the Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Performing Arts.
