“We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John. John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. “When my husband and I started our wedding planning journey, we wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play music form both my culture (Haitian) and my husbands (Puerto Rican). Prior to the wedding, Matthew got on a call with us and just discussed our vision. He really wanted to know what we wanted to do with our wedding and he found ways to not take the spotlight away from us BUT TO COMPLIMENT OUR WEDDING VISION. He is a true professional who knows how to have fun. Prior to the wedding day, Matthew called us to discuss our music taste and he curated a perfect playlist for guests to enjoy during cocktail our. He works so well with the DJ and communicated with him prior to the wedding to ensure proper audio setup. Lets get to the reception. HE CAN PLAY ANYTHING. We let our DJ take the lead during the reception and Matthew was able to play along and compliment the variety of music the DJ played. He knows how to get the crowd going! The energy of the dance floor was unmatched! He played and danced with my guests and was so friendly with all the pictures. The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. “Ralph was the best vendor I have ever worked with for a Photo Booth. He was communicative, professional and timely in his responses. I fell ill just before the event and he upped his communication to make sure I could rest easy that the event would go well. It was an outdyevent so I provided him with a pop up canopy for shade. He came prepared as the event was poolside and he managed selfies even for patrons who had been in the pool. I was given a chance to choose the background and song for the selfies and he was timely in providing the samples prior to the event. Money well spent and I would not hesitate to use his services again!”
