The Other Barn prides itself on being an affordable, local venue while allowing our clients to choose all of their own vendors in order to watch their dreams become a reality on their special day. Clients are required to bring in a licensed caterer of their choice. We offer a full kitchen, a large ice machine, and ice chests. We will set up tables and chairs for you prior to your event, according to a specialized floor plan that you design with our Facility & Rental Coordinator. Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

Circle D Farm allows you to be unique and customize your day the way you want it. With multiple outdoor and indoor ceremony and reception locations to choose from, creative in-house catering, and on-site event coordinator, Circle D Farm has your every need covered. A 4800 square foot banquet room with vaulted ceilings and wood-burning fireplace can accommodate up to 250 of your guests. A large 2nd story balcony provides dramatic views of the preserved countryside. Circle D Farm is available for year-round events.
