I grew up spending my lunch breaks in the library, scanning books and learning about new things by looking at the pictures in between the pages. I guess I was just always introverted (don't worry, I can be goofy too) so I really loved my alone time. As I got older, I have become so adventurous, scratching places out of my bucket list one by one. With every journey I take, I enjoy sharing them through my photos.

My name is Lisa McCoy (as you can guess)! My husband Aj and I live in Alanson of Northern Michigan. We enjoy camping and road trips. We make sure to find all the hidden gems Michigan has to offer on the way. During Michigan summers we love being on, or in, the water. Kayaking is a personal favorite of ours. Although, I think my happiest place is walking alongside the ocean — I can’t describe how it makes my heart feel to be there! Aj and I enjoy trying new craft beers from all around the state. I always have a bottle of champagne in the fridge while Aj is always trying different kinds of scotch. Hence the names of our wedding packages.

I'm a Michigan Native and moved north 6 years ago - best decision I've ever made. I prefer whiskey and lakeside campfires, but I also love a night out on the town. I'm a mom, major cat lady, and I'm currently loving Seinfield reruns. I'm a teacher by degree, and have worked in the event industry for years. I'm a big true crime junkie - podcasts, books, shows - all of it, but I cannot for the life of me watch a scary movie. I believe the best moments happen in the in-between, and these in-betweens tell our story. I love stopping time in these moments, just for a minute, so you can tell your story for years to come.
