Hi, and congratulations on your engagement! I’m Kendal, a Kansas City wedding and elopement photographer capturing love stories across the Midwest (and beyond!). I work with couples who do things their own way—the cool, the quirky, the beautifully real. Whether you’re planning a backyard wedding, a mountain top elopement, or a full on dance-floor blowout, I’ll blend artful portraits with honest storytelling to capture your day exactly as it feels.

My approach is warm, relaxed, and deeply collaborative. I believe your story deserves to be seen exactly as it is, and my lens is wide open to love in all its forms. Gay, straight, or somewhere in between—whoever you are and however you celebrate, your story is welcome and honored here (as long as your check clears 😉). I’ll happily embarrass myself to get a real laugh, hype your dance floor, or tell Aunt Brenda to put her phone away.     Wonderful Person and Photographer!

    Kendal beautiful captured our vision for engagement and wedding photos. She provided helpful tips for getting everything to run smoothly and captured a lot of special, fleeting moments. She’s great with people (for instance, did a great job putting our flower girls at ease). She planned out all the shots very well, while also improvising some really cool photos as the opportunities arose! We had a somewhat idiosyncratic wedding, and she was so down for it all! We’ll treasure these photos. If you’re looking for someone who is both wonderfully personable and highly professional, look no further. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended!

Typically, couples book me about 12-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. My books are open on a rolling 2 year calendar.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding and/or if you've opted for a second photographer.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening at no extra cost.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. I do send out a sneak peek of images within a week of your wedding because the best things in life are the hardest to wait for! Engagement sessions are delivered within 4 weeks of your session.
You can expect about 50 - 60 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted associates with whom I work frequently. I will never send an unknown person to photograph your wedding.
The process of working with me for your wedding is simple! We'll schedule a consultation call to discuss in detail your wedding, photography wish list, vision for your day, etc. When you're ready to make it official you'll sign a contract and pay a retainer of 50% of your total invoice. I offer payment plans of your choosing and require that all final payments are made 2 weeks before your wedding.
I love to travel and am always up for an adventure! Some of my favorite trips have been to: Vietnam, Mexico, Thailand, Montreal and Italy. In 2026 I'm headed to Australia and Bali! My pricing is all inclusive so travel fees are included in your final proposal before you book with me.
I currently offer a polaroid add on as well as content creation.
