Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. Worsell Manor has an incredible history and a new life thanks to the loving restoration by its current owners. Belmont Manor is a restored 1738 era historic site with extensive gardens and outbuildings, perfect for the quintessential garden wedding. We are considered an outdoor venue. Nestled on 68 acres of rolling green hills, this 18th Century property offers warm hospitality. Belmont Manor is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply that are different from privately owned venues. The Park provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator.

If you are seeking an exquisite garden setting you’ve arrived at the right place! There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. Your wedding can take place both inside and outside of the house, with the seating for your reception taking place under the tented terrace overlooking the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your onsite ceremony. Appleford works with 8 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors.
