“From the moment we started planning with The Barn at Elk Shoal Creek, Rebecca and her team made us feel like our wedding was their priority. They were excited and thoughtful in every conversation, always willing to brainstorm design ideas with us and help us bring our vision to life. When our original DJ cancelled last minute, Rebecca stepped in and helped us find a replacement so quickly that we barely missed a beat. On the day of the wedding, they handled all the setup and teardown, which took so much stress off our shoulders. What really impressed us was how affordable everything was—their all-inclusive packages meant no surprise fees or hidden costs. The Barn at Elk Shoal Creek gave us a beautiful venue and an incredible team to match, and we couldn't recommend them more highly to couples looking for an honest, caring venue.”

“Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of, and we truly could not have asked for a more incredible venue and team to share it with. We honestly can not say enough about them and their beautiful venue. From the very beginning, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel supported, valued, and cared for. Planning a wedding is stressful on its own, but after the unexpected loss of my mom, we had to postpone our original wedding date. During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the entire team showed us so much compassion, patience, flexibility, and kindness. They treated us like family, and that level of care is something we will never forget. When our wedding day finally arrived, every detail was absolutely perfect. The venue was stunning, everything ran seamlessly, and the staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. They made us feel so relaxed and truly allowed us to soak in every moment with our family and friends. What sets this venue apart isn't just the beautiful space—it's the incredible people behind it. Their genuine kindness, professionalism, and dedication made our day even more special than we ever imagined. They didn't just host our wedding; they helped create memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. If you're looking for a venue with a team that truly cares about their couples and will go above and beyond every step of the way, look no further. Kris, Kelly, and Denise are your girls! We are endlessly grateful for everything they did for us and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making one of the most important days of our lives so incredibly beautiful.”

“10/10 experience with the Redbird Ridge team and venue! Our wedding was on a Saturday and we also rented out the Cabin and Farmhouse for our bridal party to stay in and well as using the covered pavilion for our rehearsal dinner. Staff: Alisa was so communicative the entire process! Any questions I had, she had a quick and helpful answer. It truly felt like her and her team were there to make our day a dream come true. Even the golf cart drivers were so sweet and just added that extra touch to the day! Rehearsal Dinner: The covered Pavilion was a great space to host our rehearsal dinner. We did have a bigger group, coming in at about 60 people. We were able to seat everyone and have room for buffet tables, though it was a tighter fit. The addition of electricity and a speaker/mic made speeches a breeze. (note: the pavilion is up a tiny hill so any decor/food/coolers will have to be carried up, just fyi.) Wedding Day: The Main Hall was plenty of room for our 100 guests, we even covered the connected Terrace with a rental tent in case of rain or harsh sun. The tables, tablecloths, and chairs fit our clean white aesthetic and all decorations borrowed from the venue were in great shape and super convenient to have on site and ready for us. The open Meadow provided the most gorgeous back drop for our end of May ceremony. The mountains greenery was in full bloom and truly brought the photos to life! It was very nice that the venue provided 2 limo style golf carts to transport our guests from ceremony to reception to parking. (note: it does take a bit of time to transport that many guests so be sure to budget time for transportation for your guests before ceremony/reception start.) The entrance and parking situation seemed to be confusing for the guests and vendors. There are technically 3 entrances, one for the private farmhouse, one for vendors (by request) and then the main entrance for guests and parking. Even though we sent out a map to our guests/vendors, the entrances are within a curve so they are hard to see until you get there. I feel like signage with more contrast could help this issue but overall it worked out. Farmhouse: My bridesmaids and I stayed in the farmhouse the night before the wedding. Alisa and her husband were so welcoming, even letting us sit in their kitchen floor to play with their new litter of kittens. The rental access includes the upstairs portion which was plenty of room for us 6 girls. There were 3 full bathrooms we were able to use. We never felt as we were in someone else's space as the house was partitioned off well between rental and living spaces. Cabin: This was probably my favorite part of the property. This cute little old (but very updated) cabin hosted the groomsmen the night before and then my husband and I the night after. There is a full kitchen so the boys were able to cook dinner. We even had our two dogs stay here with us! 6 guys were able to sleep upstairs where there is also a half bath. The only full bath is downstairs in the master bedroom. The beds were super comfy and the fenced in backyard was so nice to have onsite! Just beware that the cabin is off in a woodsy area so there is wildlife/aka watch your pets!! The conditions were good so the venue did let us host a small fire in the backyard fire pit to roast marshmallows which was the perfect end to the night. (note: the upstairs ceilings are quite low so if you are over 6 foot, you might have to duck a tiny bit.)”

“Chetola was the ideal location for our dream wedding. Accommodations are second to none. From the moment you enter the grounds, it's clear this resort is a special place, run by capable staff with a passion for hospitality. Meris in particular is wonderful, very knowledgeable and prepared for anything. The condos provide spacious, luxury accommodations for family and friends alike. During our time here we enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony, walks around the lake, and pickleball at the resort's courts. Meris and the team worked closely with all our vendors to ensure everything went perfectly on our wedding day. Even in the face of imminent rain - which thankfully held off - the Chetola staff was prepared with several contingency plans. Every detail was thought through, nothing was missed. You're in great hands here! We've heard nothing but praise in the weeks following our wedding from guests who thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The only problem with Chetola: you may not want to leave!”

“There is so much I could say about this venue. Diane and her team are above and beyond amazing. There were so many details I personally overlooked that Diane had solved for me. She had some addressed and handled and I didn’t know until after the fact. I was so caught up in what I thought was important. I missed having a send the bride out que and I would have never known because she coordinated it in the drop of a dime. Her vibe is so laid-back and chill. She’s super communicative and has all her details in order. There were so many personal touches like our last name in places such as the photo frame and inside the honeymoon suite done up and beautiful clothes pins and burlap sign. Beyond the ease of scheduling and planning with Diane, holly moly, can we talk about the beauty of the venue. The white barn with ferns hanging between each beam. Muah, that is chef’s kiss. The doors leading to the isle and whiskey barrels for how you see fit. There were highland cows grazing in the field behind the altar, which were groomed the day prior so they were fluffy and their hair blew in the wind. There were several perfect locations for photos, including waterfall, old cabin, dirt road between the barns and the Mountain View’s of the property. We were graced with the presence of little Fred, a baby Highland cow who did so amazing. We had a lot of younger children on our guest list and little Fred was just chilling. Diane did such an amazing job, especially for the children that may not have been well attended around Fred. She handled it like a champ and that’s above and beyond in itself. I could go on and on. Honestly the more I see wedding pictures from this venue and all the different things they’ve done and added, I want to get married again. In this exact location! It was definitely the country wedding we dreamed of”

“Something Blue Mountain Venue was our first and only choice for our wedding venue. The views are breathtaking and it is like nature herself decided to give the perfect frame for every photo. The owner Lisa is wonderful and really makes it incredibly easy to show up and enjoy! She gave the best recommendations for vendors. Recent renovations even made a fully enclosed bar area perfect for sipping and staying warm in the winter. We had 35 people and it was the perfect size even though 35 was the maximum number of guests. Overall, not a chance in a million years I would prefer any other venue. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend. Thanks Lisa!”

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail—from the beautifully maintained landscaping to the thoughtfully curated indoor and outdoor spaces—had been designed with care and intention. The barn itself is stunning, with both climate-controlled comfort and expansive outdoor areas that make the most of North Carolina’s natural beauty. Whether you're planning a wedding, corporate event, or celebration of any kind, Creekside Farm is the ideal setting. Our event was a smashing success, and much of that is thanks to Megan’s expertise. She is a true professional—detail-oriented, prompt, and incredibly organized. Every aspect of the venue was taken care of seamlessly, allowing us to focus entirely on our guests and the celebration. We also chose to hire some of Megan’s event staff, and it was absolutely worth it. Having an experienced, capable team ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
