“Sound Originals did a fantastic job photographing our wedding! Ari and Ali were very professional and they understood how to set up good shots. I'm amazed by how good the lighting was in most of the photos, even in some rooms at the church that weren't as well lit. There are a few photos I wish had been full body rather than cut off at the ankles, oh well. At the end of the night when our coverage had ended before the wedding did, they waited till the end of a song before saying goodbye instead of interrupting, which we greatly appreciated.”

“Where do I even begin--how about with how hard it was to pick ONLY ten photos to include with this review?!? When we purchased Yellow Paddle's 1.5 photographer package, I was already over the moon. Having a second shooter, even for part of the day, was something I never dreamed I could afford, and it was so exciting to find a photography vendor where the pricing was so readily available. It's almost impossible to quantify the ways that Lan and Mike contributed to our day, and I am still in shock at how much I paid for how much we got. Yellow Paddle let us peruse all of their available photographers for our wedding date, and aside from how much we loved Lan's portfolio, there was also so much in his biography that resonated with us as a couple. From the moment we met Lan at our (incredibly well-priced) engagement session, we knew we had hit the nail on the head. Talking to him was easy, we shared tons of common interests, and despite both feeling very awkward in front of a camera, Lan captured our love and excitement with such intimacy and authenticity. Because of the connection we built at our engagement session, welcoming Lan into our getting-ready spaces was much more like greeting an old friend than meeting a wedding vendor. We didn't get to choose our second shooter with the 1.5 photographer package, but Mike was also an invaluable part of our day. When we got our gallery back (far sooner than the expected delivery date), we were in absolute awe. Lan and Mike delivered far above and beyond what we had ever dreamed of receiving when we started planning our wedding, and frankly above and beyond what we even expected based on Yellow Paddle's pricing/package details. From the staged family photos and accessory shots to the candids of guests and private moments between my husband and me, Lan and Mike truly captured the warmth, intimacy, love, and connection we felt throughout our special day. “Christine of Antler Run photography was ABSOLUTELY amazing to work with! My husband and I did a lot of research finding an elopement photographer and were nervous being it was out of state for us. I booked with Antler Run a year in advance and Christine kept in touch with me during the lead up to the shoot. We changed plans and she was happy to work with us on it. She actually looked at my Pinterest inspo and gave me exactly the vision I had very easily. We had 15 sneak peek pics 5 days later and THEY. ARE. PHENOMENAL. Not only does she know what she is doing in terms of getting all the planned shots, she got incredible candid shots and live shots of my groom and I, our families, and our guests. As we've been looking back so far at our pictures, we get to relive the emotion of the day. It's the intangible thing that an incredible photographer can do--capture the emotion. I can feel our joy radiating out of our photos and I am so grateful I hired Lo. Years from now we are going to get to experience this day over-and-over because the quality of her photos is incredible. The variety of shots she was able to get makes it seem like she had second shooter (but she's just that good). Our first look was perfect. She made sure we got some golden hour shots and then got us right back to dinner so we could eat. She also is incredible at giving minor adjustment tips to make sure we weren't doing anything weird with our hands lol. Dmitriy and his team went above and beyond the whole day, always "there" to capture a sweet moment from our family elders, an unplanned slow dance between my husband and I, and live action shots from the dance floor. Dmitriy's lead photographer even laid on the ground during our reception so he could capture photos of us all dancing together during the faster songs. Myself and my husband are not natural picture takers or posers for that matter-- the camera only comes out if someone else is around. “Natalie was absolutely instrumental in making our wedding day more special than we had ever imagined. We really prioritized finding vendors who had experience working with queer couples, people of color, and disabled people - whose portfolios aligned with our values and our wedding party beyond simply stating “all are welcome” on their websites - and Natalie delivered. I have never been comfortable or felt like *myself* in front of the camera because of my flat affect and rigidity (I’m neurodivergent), so I was particularly anxious about having “good” photos from our wedding day. But Natalie’s warm demeanor immediately put my mind at ease, and I was blown away by how our engagement photoshoot went. Having (obviously) never planned a wedding before, my wife and I were a bit overwhelmed by all the decisions and coordination that go into making 100-person party go off without a hitch, but Natalie helped us put together a custom timeline that somehow fit in plenty of photos with our large, loud, blended families, and even an extra photoshoot for my parents! She communicated with all our vendors in advance and kept the entire day running on time. She helped button our dresses and clasp our jewelry, helped us stay present and enjoy each moment while offering direction when warranted. And the photos… Wow. The level of detail and composition of each photo is remarkable and immediately transports us back to our wedding day. We look (and felt!) like we were living in a fairytale. Natalie captured our personalities and relationship so well, from the intimacy of our first look and “golden hour” to lots of laughter with our closest friends. It’s the best wedding I’ve ever been to - of course! - and we couldn’t have done it without Natalie.”
