From digital to dreamy 35mm film & nostalgic Super 8, I make sure your love story feels as epic as it is. Whether you are planning an intimate elopement or a big celebration, let's create magic, laugh a lot and capture who you are as a couple for you to forever obsess over!

We try and treat every wedding as if it were our own. We want to hang out like friends, get to know you and than retell your love story. We also love to be apart of the planning process and help you make your vision come to life! Let's bounce ideas off one another no matter how adventurous they may seem.

    Recommend a million times over!

    There are absolutely no words that could possibly describe how incredible Nic and Courtney were on our wedding day! Choosing Wild Opal for photo videography was truly the best decision we could have made, and we will forever be grateful for the way they showed up for us. They went above and beyond in every way possible and did everything they could to make our day feel special, supported, and taken care of. They were one of the only parts of the day that I never had to worry about, and that meant more than I can even explain. They were so much more than photographers and videographers. They were calm, helpful, kind, and present in every way and advocated for us we needed it most throughout the day. We are both incredibly awkward in front of the camera, but Nic and Courtney have such a gift for making you feel comfortable, at ease, and able to let loose and have fun. They are both so down to earth, kind, and easy to be around, which made such a huge difference. Their photos capture real moments as they naturally happen and never feel overly posed. They notice the little details that most people would miss, and because of that, they create the most beautiful, meaningful images. Courtney and Nic were such a steady and comforting presence during an emotional day, and it truly felt like they helped hold everything together. On top of all of that, they captured the most beautiful memories for us and added thoughtful little touches that meant more than they will ever know. They didn’t just capture our wedding day, but helped make it beautiful, unforgettable and like us.     Best Photo/Video Team!

    Working with Courtney was a dream! She was incredible to work with from the start with our engagement session all the way through to the wedding day and beyond. My husband and I are a little more on the shy/awkward side - especially when it comes to taking photos, but Courtney made us feel so comfortable and knew exactly what to have us to do to get some beautiful and fun shots :) Courtney was so fun and helpful throughout our special day and the questionnaires she sent us to fill out were so helpful for us to give her any heads up and set our day up for success. Our wedding day and timeline went off without a hitch and everyone has had wonderful things to say about our photo/video team and the sneak peek photos! Oh, she was also so patient with our chaotic pups who wanted to join in on some photo fun! We have zero regrets choosing Wild Opal and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!! :)

    Best shot!

    Courtney and her team made us feel so comfortable and either guided us into amazing shots or caught them naturally! They provide so much helpful guidance and experience about the whole wedding process, how to make it your own, and captured all the special moments!

Heck yes we do!!! We prefer to offer photo AND video options so that our couples can receive a cohesive look to their wedding video and their wedding photos.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. With that said, if we have your date available we have been booked a week before a wedding. Anything is possible!
Sometimes. Some of our packages include an additional third photographer. In this instance we would, but we always work with the same handful of fellow photographers that we know and trust.
Well not all of the images. But we will edit all the final images. They will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for no additional charge.
There is not an exact number. It is going to vary depending on number of hours we are in attendance, guest size, willingness to cooperate, etc. But on average between 400-1000.
In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
