Well, I guess first would be to say, Hello! I’m Kirstin but most people call me Kirstie! I’m a photographer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado but will travel to wherever my clients need me to go. I’m married to my best friend; I am a mother to my beautiful baby boy named Bjorn. My passion is photographing adventurous elopements and intimate weddings! I adore capturing those real time moments and freezing that moment in time for my clients to cherish for generations to follow.

This is more than just a job to me. I am capturing moments in time that will never be the same again. People grow; they get older, we lose loved ones & gain new ones. I am here to photograph every moment in your life that you want to celebrate & freeze in time. Photographs are timeless & will tell stories to generations and generations. These are moments that should be handled with love & passion as they are irreplaceable.     Moments that will last forever

    Kirstie has done a couples session, a (surprise!) engagement session and my wedding! With each time she was our photographer, she was better and better each time. She is a warm and amazing person and it shows through her work. She takes the time to get to know the couples and families she is photographing because she wants the essence of who they are to come through in their pictures. Family is important to her and she knows how important it is to capture the important moments but also the unexpected ones. My favorite pictures from her are always the pictures in between moments where I’m gazing at my husband or we’re laughing at us falling over each other. She knows how to make each moment shine. Kirstie is the best photographer I’ve ever worked with and would recommend her to anyone who asks.

    Quick turn around

    Aside from her providing the gown (maternity) I got my pictures back very quick and the pictures were beautiful.

Typically, couples book me about 10-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring an assistant to help with small tasks throughout the day. Second shooters are included in my wedding packages to help me cover all possible angles and ensure every moment and detail is captured.
Definitely. All final images will be edited, including minor fixes with blemishes, stray hairs, removing background objects, and of course, my warm and vintage editing touch to ensure they look beautiful.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. Once your online gallery has been delivered, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files 2-3 weeks after the final gallery delivery, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. But I am happy to recommend some amazing videographers!
Yes I do! I offer an abundance of print options for you to choose from. If you're investing in your photos to be beautiful, displaying them in your home should be top quality. I work with a professional high quality printing lab that produces beautiful pieces. You can order prints, albums, wall art in metal or canvas, announcement or holiday cards, and much more!
Each package includes travel within the Springs and anywhere within an hour of the springs. Any location outside of that range will result in travel fees. Travel fees vary based on distance, if overnight stays or flights need to be added, etc. Those will all be discussed in your consult and quoted to base on location.
