My name is Laura and I am a Canadian living in Colorado Springs. I have a passion for raw/real documentary style photography. I am a mama to Sunny Rose and I love slow mornings sipping lattes, gardening and travel. Photography has been a love of mine for many years. Growing up I couldn't put down the camera. I started out tinkering with my dads old film and it hooked me ever since. Now, I shoot with digital but always strive to have that film inspired look. I love the beauty of capturing a process- a moment between movements. The collision between love, people and nature is what makes me want to pursue photography.

I love documenting and allowing you to be yourself with an easy going vibe and attitude. My love for film tends to peek through my digital work- I love the rawness of in between moments. My clients aren't just another booking for me, I truly love the connection and hopefully friendship!

Outstanding
Laura is absolutely incredible. She has a very creative eye to getting the most unique photos that reflect the personality of who she’s photographing! Not only is her photography style very natural, but also very intentional in the way she uses light and shapes surrounding us as the subjects. Laura is super easy going and made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our session.... that really reflected in the photos we received! I would highly recommend Laura to anyone I know who needs an engagement or wedding photographer.

Working with Laura for a mini maternity shoot was an incredible! I’m not one who loves taking photos but she was so calming and reassuring. They turned out better than I could have ever imagined!

Laura was so sweet and professional for our photos. Both my husband and I have never taken photos together and were very nervous about the whole process. Laura is the BEST! She was our photographer for both our pregnancy and family photos and she goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at ease :) I’d recommend her to anyone and I promise you’ll be so happy with the final pictures!
