I am a tintype photographer who travels the world documenting weddings and other important events. I am one of only a few photographers in the U.S. who specialize in the wet plate collodion process. I have a background in anthropology and photojournalism which allows me to integrate the environment into my images, creating images that truly honor the memories of the day. One of my greatest joys in life is making-one-of-a-kind heirloom portraits that will withstand the tests of time.

I offer a unique photographic experience unlike any other. All images are made by hand using a process from the 1850's. Couples get to cherish tangible artifacts from their wedding that their family will get to regard for generations to come.

    SO UNIQUE A MUST!

    As a photographer myself, I love seeing artists bring something truly different to the wedding world, and Megan does exactly that!! Tintype photography is such a unique way to preserve a wedding day. it’s not just another photo in your camera roll, but a one-of-a-kind piece of art you can actually hold onto. There’s something incredibly special about creating a tangible photograph that was made by hand and can be passed down for generations. Your wedding day goes by so quickly, and having a physical piece of that moment feels timeless in a way digital images simply can’t replicate. If you’re looking for something artistic, meaningful, and completely different from traditional wedding photography, I couldn’t recommend Megan Snook more. It’s the kind of photograph you’ll have forever and one that can become part of your family’s story.
