He has a calming and reassuring energy that not only assured me we could get any type of music we like, but he helped me plan my entire timeline. Every single time I had a concern, he would have a solution. He used an app that allowed me to add the music I wanted, including Persian music. At our walk-through, he worked with our other vendors to make sure the layout was perfect for us on our wedding day. Then finally on the wedding day we got to see how great he really is. He was checking in and helping keep us on schedule. When we got to the dance floor he mixed Persian music with American songs so perfectly that there was not a single person sitting down. “I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue. “It was meant to be for us to have Sam be the DJ at our nerdy chic wedding. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. Only 6 weeks out, and he was free on our date *and* had played the venue before! Fast-tracked our consult meetings, worked with us on our timeline for our very short ceremony and reception and overall had great tips and tricks. There were one or two moments during the wedding that were maybe hiccups (including me kicking the plugs out!) but he rolled with it, we rolled with it. He's so personable, everyone loved him - we're all transplants from NJ/ NY and turns out he's practically related to at least one of my family. For sure, would recommend him!”

The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well.
