She had such a quick response time, usually within a day, or a couple hours, and sometimes even sooner! Her attention to detail in making my timeline was also amazing and I felt that we were able to have the whole day planned to the dot before the big day. We had some small hiccups with the layouts that our venue had set up, but a quick word from Lissa had them fixing the issue. Villa was so great at directing interesting, natural poses that didn't feel forced or awkward in the moment. We opt-ed not to do an engagement shoot, but if we had to do it all over again, we absolutely would with Villa. During day of, Villa was extremely detailed and organized. She arrived early to the venue to capture photos and understand the space overall. She was very good about taking photos in a way that didn't interrupt the flow of events while navigating a fairly large and irregularly shaped venue. We received a great blend of editorial and photo-journalistic images that really captured the day beautifully. She has a great eye for wide shots, close up details, and artistic framing. Our wedding day started on a sunny day at noon and ended in the evening. Villa shot great photos throughout all the lighting changes during the day including many flash photography and low light shots after the sun had set. Not only is she incredibly professional and sweet, but she also delivered a preview in 1 day and our full day of photos in about TWO WEEKS. The online gallery she sent us had literacy over 1,000 photos and they were all edited beautifully. She was able to capture every tear, every funny face, and every unattractive cheesy head-thrown-back laugh. Other than family portraits, she was truly a documentary style photographer in that no photos were staged and every shot is authentic. As an anxious bride, I really appreciated our several planning calls, tablescape mockup, her virtual CAD modeling, and that she even invited me to go to the floral wholesaler with her to select our roses. I also loved being able to follow the behind-the-scenes process of her creating the arrangements on Instagram. Ket’s positive attitude, calming words, and kind smile during even the crazy parts of our wedding day truly touched me. Despite rain, Ket and her team set up our arbor through the storm and in record time (and with a baby on her back). She truly is a super woman!
