Photography began as a way to help my wife see herself through a different lens. What started as a personal passion grew into a love for documenting life's most meaningful moments and the people who share them. Today, I specialize in weddings and couples, creating images that help you relive not just how your day looked, but how it felt. My goal is to provide a relaxed, enjoyable experience while preserving memories you'll cherish for years to come.

We LOVED everything about Original Weddings. After the orientation call we had a clear vision on our wedding day. From there the communication through the portal was great so that we could ask questions that may not have been already answered in the questionnaire. Our photographer, Lisa, was on time ready to go and was a perfect fit to the busy day. We LOVE the photos and they came very quick which was an added bonus showing the professionalism of Original Weddings. 10/10 experience!

I AM MAGIC. AND SO ARE YOU. I am a storyteller — a romantic at heart, a seeker of beauty, and a quiet observer of the in-between. My name is Morgan Elise, and I am a documentary-rooted, editorial-inspired wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas — though I’ll follow love wherever it takes me.

My now-husband (!!) and I cannot speak highly enough of Ashley. We did our engagement pictures with her and very soon after booked her for our wedding. Not only is she just such a kind and cool person, she's also an incredible photographer with an amazing ability to capture exactly the essence you're looking for. Even if you can't describe exactly what you want, Ashley can make it happen. She sees the beauty in all the little moments that you can easily miss on such a busy day. Working with Ashley was seamless; she's a great communicator and worked closely with us at each step of the process. We got so many sneak peeks back within 48 hours of our wedding which was super exciting, and it's going to be hard to pick which ones to frame!

Double Knot Pictures | Photo + Video
Rating: 5.0 (21 reviews)
Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,970

Our small team of award-winning photographers and videographers celebrate the candid, authentic beauty of your day. Because when you look back on your album you should remember the fun, easy, imperfect, personal moments that make you, you -- not how long you had to pose.

We can't thank Adam and his team at Doubleknot enough! Our wedding was attended by 150 people in upstate New York including a church and reception venue. We hired Adam and his team for photography and videography. He even gave us a complimentary engagement shoot! Since our engagement shoot we were happy with Adam's photography. He took us around a park in Brooklyn. Adam's friendly nature and clear direction made us feel comfortable as a couple who aren't used to being in front of the camera. We got some amazing shots that look natural and beautiful. We really enjoyed Adam's creativity and spontaneity. From the very early morning of our wedding Adam and team were professional, timely, and respectful. The Doubleknot team followed our run of show and were organized. We had two teams of photographers and videographers for the getting ready portions of the bride and groom. It's such a treat to look back at all the bridesmaids and groomsmen preparing for the big day. We love how candid and perfectly captured these moments were. Even the smaller moments seemed special like all the wedding details and the trip to the church. Adam and his team got all the big moments perfectly as well. From walking down the aisle to the I do's the team got everything. We appreciate all the formal family portraits as well. Everyone we wanted photographed was photographed and we now have plenty of photos to gift to our family. Adam and his team did a great job giving us enough time between enjoying our guests and being photographed especially during cocktail hour. We have plenty of beautiful photos of us on the venue grounds while also not missing out on our wedding. While we mingled with guests and enjoyed cocktail hour the team got great shots of our venue, food and guests. When it was time to dance we were happy with how much personality was shown in the photos of our guests and how much fun we all had. We love the sweet photos of all the speeches, flower toss and cake cutting. The team was flexible in staying past what we had previously agreed to so we got plenty of photos and video late into the night. We received our photos and video in a timely manner and even some beautiful photo books. We would definitely recommend Doubleknot. We're so grateful for all the happy memories we now have of our wedding and are so impressed with the quality and creativity of their work!

Tyler Gets Weird
Rating: 5.0 (17 reviews)
Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500

After getting out of the Marine Corps and photographing weddings for a larger "big box" company, I decided I wanted my own brand that really connects and cares about the couples I work with. And here we are 4 years later. I am a very "unprofessional professional". I love to have a good time and I embrace weirdness (will do your wedding for free if you're wearing all denim) but at the same time I also am very Type A; I love a good spreadsheet, I'm punctual, logistically minded, extremely detail oriented, and I will always advocate and/or problem solve for my couples on wedding day.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband & I are both not the best at posing and smiling for pictures, so it was super important to us to find a good candid photographer and someone that we could feel comfortable with. Especially considering we were having a small, 40 person wedding in our backyard. Tyler was absolutely amazing, as were the pictures he took! It was more important to us to have the “people” captured, so we didn’t want a ton of pictures of my dress hanging up, or our invites/shoes/etc artfully arranged, and we also didn’t want to spend an hour away from our family and friends taking a ton of posed pictures. Tyler adjusted to all of that, we only spent about half an hour (maybe) doing portraits, and he got so many amazing shots of our friends and family. He also made sure to get to know us and meshed so well in our friends and family groups! He helped out with set-up between pictures, he gave us advice on things like schedule/timing/vendor suggestions, and he even got our (very loud, opinionated, and prickly) senior dog to adore him. His vibe? Immaculate. I could not recommend him enough!!

My name is Diana and I'm a photographer based out of Austin, Texas. I'm originally from Atlanta but I live in Austin, Texas with my favorite human Mark, my little sweet baby Tom, and my dog Moonpie. If you're looking for an open, easy, and stress-free experience, get in touch.

Awarded Best of Zola
Where to even begin! We hired Diana for our engagement & wedding photos after many trusted friends recommended her to us as a queer-friendly photographer. And we are so glad we did! We were blown away at how the photos turned out and absolutely loved working with her. Diana is professional, fun to be around, and she is extremely talented at what she does. She made our shoots feel calm and enjoyable, and she always captured the best moments. Her editing is absolutely beautiful, too! She has a way of highlighting our best qualities while also maintaining the integrity of what makes us all unique as people. She pays special attention to details and really listens to what her clients want. As a queer couple, it can feel extra vulnerable to open up and be so visible with a camera in front of you, especially if you didn't know the photographer beforehand—it meant everything to us that Diana was always so warm, accepting, and kind. We really felt like we could be ourselves and that really shows in our photos. Hiring Diana was one of the best decisions we've ever made as a couple. When we had to reschedule and adjust our wedding multiple times because of the pandemic, she was flexible and worked with us every step of the way. She was actually the one who first recommended the venue we ended up going with! We cannot ever thank her enough. You will not be disappointed!

Hi I'm Allie! I am a photographer and videographer based in Austin, TX. I have 17+ years experience in the wedding industry. Growing up, my Dad did wedding photography (on film!) and did that all throughout my childhood. Eventually, I got to tag along with him and he realized I had a natural eye for a good shot. Whenever I do weddings now, it always makes me nostalgic for the days I got to spend learning from him. Years later, he gifted me my first camera. Now, I have experience with weddings, short films, portraits, and more. If my work makes a connection with you, then I know I did my job.

Hey, thanks SO much for being here! I am honored you are checking out my page. I became a full time wedding photographer after realizing my connection to capturing love stories. I value connection, transparency, and having a fun time with my couples!

First off, Tia is one of the sweetest human beings I have ever worked with! My husband and I were lucky enough to be in Yosemite at the same time as Tia and her boyfriend (hello fate??) and we had the best engagement session! We were, then, lucky enough to have her photograph our wedding in May. We're so happy we chose Tia to photograph all our special moments as our photos turned out better than we ever could've imagined. Being able to relive all our moments and feel the emotions through the photographs is truly so special. On top of that, Tia is so pleasant to work with - she is attentive, present, and always prepared for anything photo related (and more!). Her communication is so fast - always keeping me updated with changes if there were any. Everything felt like a collaborative effort which I so appreciated, especially in the wedding industry. At the end of the day, throughout my wedding planning process, I felt so supported working with Tia and felt like I had a friend capturing all our special moments. Tia photographs everything so beautifully and authentically and her photos will be timeless memories in our home for years to come.

I've been in the business for over 18 years so I've seen a lot change and evolve though the years. I bring expertise to the table as well as a background in special education. Having two children of my own and having taught for over a decade, I also bring patience and grace to every person I meet. I believe love is love and I accept and welcome anyone and everyone who allows me to tell their love story.

We found Heather on The Knot but knew immediately that she had worked on 2 prior weddings we attended. She did our engagement photos as well and even though the weather wasn’t the best, she captured some really beautiful shots of us. We had a big multi lingual family she had to direct at our wedding and she did such a great job!! Heathers team knows how to work to get stuff done and she was an important collaborator in creating our run of show. When random issues occurred like a staff cutting themselves before cake cutting pics, Heather jumped into action to help us r-stage the shot. We had a lot of fun & loved working with her! Our photos are absolutely stunning!

You want a photographer who knows what she’s doing, someone who can handle anything, read the room, and make you feel at ease from the first hello. I don’t show up to take photos, I show up to protect how your day feels. I guide you through the chaos, read the room, and make sure you never have to wonder what’s next. My couples choose me because they want art that feels alive and someone who actually gives a damn about their story.

Two Pair Photography
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,800

We are the eyes behind TWO PAIR PHOTOGRAPHY. We are high school sweethearts. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We’ve shot hundreds of weddings and it never gets old. We operate on a glass half full mentality for life. Sometimes sans rules. We shoot people for a living. Weddings, Engagements, Families, Brides, Seniors… We are Chad + Tressie and we love LOVE!

We booked Two Pair Photography less than a month out from our big day after switching from another photographer for other reasons. The fact that they responded quickly (the week of Thanksgiving), kindly, and compassionately meant the world! Fast forward to the day of, and they are there with two shooters, on-time. The main photographer (and one of the business owners), Chad, worked two locations that morning as the groom got ready at the hotel and the bride got ready at the venue. We had him for the full ten hours. The directed portraits portion of our wedding with our family and wedding party was also a blast! In less than three weeks after the wedding (with the holidays in the middle), we received 1000s of stunning photos! Talk about a great turnaround! Two Pair gave us a shareable link for our friends, family, and other vendors. Going through the photos has been such a delight. We've had so many friends tell us, "There will be 5-10 photos you love, and the rest will be okay." That is hardly the case for us - as we have fallen in love with 100s of them from the shoot! Absolutely worth the price and then some!

Sam Hugh Photography

Austin, TX

  • Starts at $5,500

I’m a hopeless romantic that's in an international long-distance marriage for almost ten years. I really enjoy documenting weddings. It’s one giant Rubik's Cube of composing interesting images, telling family history, figuring out the optimal light, and just getting to know people. My passion is to keep pushing my art and create a timeless product you will still cherish 50 years from now. I want to create honest photos that capture the realness of your relationships. I want to do more than tell a story, I want to capture the feelings and emotions of the day. I want to capture your quirkiness, your happiness, and the quiet moments in between.

Sam was the perfect choice to capture the moments of our special day!!! Seriously!!! Sam went the extra mile to get to know us personally and really was cognizant of our personality and how to match it up with a photography style. Sam was extremely professional. Our wedding was very small and low key but did wonderfully capturing all the moments you look back on and feel that rush of happiness. I would strongly urge anyone looking for a photographer for a wedding or any event to use Sam!

You spend your entire wedding day with your photographer, and Nicole is who you want on your team on your big day. I had seen Nicole in action at a friend’s wedding, so when it came time to hire for my own, Nicole was my first and only call. She was communicative, organized, and an overall joy to work with. She stayed in close contact with my planner when we changed venues 3 weeks before the wedding, visited the site beforehand, and came with lots of ideas. She nailed my vision from start to finish. Her assistant was also a pleasure to work with & kept our rowdy group wrangled & on time. 10/10 would recommend!

We're Adam and Courtney, a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Austin, Texas and available for weddings worldwide. Our style blends documentary and editorial: candid, story-driven images with the timeless polish that makes them feel like heirlooms. For the past seven years, what we've loved most about this work is the people. Getting to know each couple, earning their trust, and showing up on one of the most important days of their life ready to serve them wholeheartedly. Our couples tell us having us by their side feels like home, and that's the highest compliment we could receive. We'd be honored to be part of your story.

From the very beginning, they felt like so much more than photographers. They brought incredible energy, peace, joy, and intentionality into our wedding day, and honestly became such a grounding presence for us throughout the entire experience. One thing that meant so much to us personally was how supported we felt emotionally. Wedding days can be overwhelming, and I experienced some pretty intense anxiety before the ceremony. Courtney and Adam were calm, encouraging, and genuinely caring in a way that helped us stay present and enjoy the day. They truly felt like trusted friends walking alongside us the entire time. And then there are the PHOTOS. We were absolutely blown away. Every image feels alive. They captured not just what the day looked like, but what it felt like. All the joy, the emotion, the movement, the laughter, the worship, the candid in-between moments, all of it. Looking through our gallery genuinely felt like reliving the entire wedding day from start to finish. Their sneak peeks had us speechless while we were on our honeymoon. We kept saying how perfectly they captured every meaningful moment, from emotional reactions during the ceremony to tiny candid interactions we never even noticed happening. Some of our favorite images are the ones we never would have thought to ask for. They somehow anticipated and preserved every beautiful moment. Beyond their talent, Courtney and Adam care deeply about people. They brought so much warmth, encouragement, and genuine love into our wedding day, and that impacted us just as much as the photos themselves. We truly cannot imagine anyone else photographing our wedding, and we will recommend them to every couple we know. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Jess was such a pleasure to work with. She captured our elopement, and from the very start she brought nothing but good vibes. She truly cared about getting to know us as a couple, which made the entire experience feel so comfortable and natural. On such an intimate and meaningful day, Jess made us feel completely at ease while capturing every special moment beautifully. The photos perfectly reflect the love, emotion, and joy we felt, and we will cherish them forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to document our elopement—Jess is incredibly talented and an absolute joy to be around.

Im Chris, a photographer living in Austin Texas. I think connection between people, whether they be strangers, best friends, or loved ones, is what this is all about. I think every moment can be captured in a beautiful way.

Chris is easy-going and relaxing to work with right from the jump. His creative eye always found a way to incorporate our surroundings yet he always was able to capture a natural expression. We had a few different locations for our engagement shoot and in each location, he was able to find something unique, experimented with different framing, but was always able to keep us at ease in front of a camera. Overall he made the day really special and we left with a memorable set of images that we see every day on our walls! It was great working with him and I'll jump at any chance to do it again. Highly recommend!
