Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures. One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. “We hired Closing Time for our wedding band and they absolutely blew us away. Due to weather issues out of our control (including loss of electricity at the venue), the band was unfortunately unable to play live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. However, they were able to quickly transition to prerecorded versions of our processional/recessional songs. Despite the power still being out for the first two hours of our reception, Closing Time delivered. They were incredibly professional throughout and the live music was absolutely phenomenal. Multiple guests came up to us throughout the night asking how we found them, as well as telling us this was the best wedding band they has heard. I had so many questions (and a bit of wedding stress), and they were always patient, responsive, and genuinely reassuring. As a bride, that peace of mind meant everything - they really put me at ease and made me feel like we were in good hands. Our venue was a little… weird. Odd layout, limited space, not exactly band-friendly. They didn’t blink. They allowed my bridesmaid to sing the first dance/acoustic singalong at the end, had the crowd BUMPING all night but especially during their last performance. They also curated the folk music of my dreams during cocktail hour. As an aside, I've been to so many weddings with microphone issues during vows and the sound systems and microphone settings were also super on point. It's a small detail but a great one to trust to get right! Do yourself a HUGE favor and book them- my guests and I will never stop raving about them!!”

“DJ Buono & DJ Tavo & crew were absolutely incredible!! As a news reporter, I can appreciate producing a SHOW and that is exactly what they put on! This was SO much MORE than a great wedding!! From the first phone call, DJ Tavo's excitement and attention to detail was top tier. DJ Buono helped sculpt our ENTIRE reception & even gave us the idea to have dinner become more of a performance with our violinist. They immediately welcomed her into the mix and it made for the BEST time!! You would have thought she worked with them nightly. This was an elegant night out in Boston meets IBIZA!! We could barely sit still to eat because we were all dancing in our seats!! I have never seen guests rush the dance floor like this. (& I've once been to 13 weddings in a single year) To the point, we had to tell some of them to sit down so we could do parent dances!! People literally could not wait to start dancing/celebrating!! We cannot believe this was our WEDDING!!! & it wouldn't have been the same without Black Diamond Event Production! People are still messaging us to say this was the best wedding they've ever been to! Not only is this team so talented that it is almost out of this world, they are also good people. People you'd want sitting at your table, people you'd want in your corner, and people you will want to keep in touch with forever. DJ Tavo sent us our dinner and reception mixes as they played the night of our wedding almost immediately. Which means we can keep reliving this night!! It was such a sweet surprise. We will never forget this & will be recommending them to all of our friends and family. We will scream it from the top of Boston's Prudential Center (where our reception was) if we have to! Not to mention, this was the FIRST ever full wedding reception up there (with this guest count) and they took on the challenge with EASE!! Book Black Diamond Event Production!! You won't regret it!!! David gave us suggestions on why certain lighting changes the whole vibe of the events. Used him for three events and all three were phenomenal. Chad is high energy and he was a great MC all night. He perfectly timed all of our ceremony music, including a high energy moment for our flower dude! He introduced us with much enthusiasm and kept the party flowing all night.
