“Can't say enough good things about Kate! Kate's photos looked fun and candid, but still beautiful, and the prices were quite reasonable (we researched dozens of photographers). When we messaged her, she was so responsive and fun we knew we had to have her no matter what. She was very thorough, making sure we got the pictures WE wanted, and not what our parents or other guests might be thinking. Everything was laid out way ahead of time so we all knew what to expect. I really appreciated the planning beforehand, because while it can be a lot, it made the actual wedding day/week SO much smoother. Pictures took about 6 weeks, which was great turn around for *over 600 photos*. We absolutely love them! Some of the photos are gorgeous posed shots of my husband and I that I'm absolutely getting framed, but some of the best are these candid moments from after the wedding and reception. She got us signing our marriage license, hugging and crying with our guests, and doing finger guns with my sister at the reception. She didn't miss a thing and it's the best recreation of the day we could've possibly asked for. “I highly recommend Sound Originals for wedding photography based on the communication, organization, value, and most importantly, the final product. Gabriella was always very responsive and clear in the messages sent via the online portal when we had questions. I was a bit hesitant to book this vendor because I didn’t know anyone who’d used the company before, but I’m glad I did. We were lucky to get paired with Jared as our photographer and immediately felt comfortable with him on our virtual planning call. On the day of our wedding he was prompt and had plenty of ideas ready to go, but he was also very open to any ideas we had. He never made us feel rushed at all as you could tell he wanted to take his time to get the shots right. He was patient when necessary, efficient when necessary and always reminded us to let him know if any poses didn’t feel comfortable or natural. We didn’t have a second shooter but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at our photos as Jared managed to get great variety in the angles during the ceremony and reception. The photos are beautiful and we are looking forward to framing a few. We got the sneak peak within 2 weeks and the full photo gallery not too long after that. The only critique I have is that the florist we used was incorrectly tagged on the sneak peak instagram post, and wasn’t corrected even though I reached out via direct message and comment. The flowers were beautiful & the correct florist deserved the credit. Overall, I would definitely work with Sound Originals and Jared in particular again in the future.”
