Dion Lawson is a photographer, content creator, and filmmaker based in Colorado. Raised in the Washington DC area, Dion was drawn to spending as much time as possible outdoors (hence the move to Denver) which allowed him to use natural light as a starting point to create his art. Creating his art in its natural light also taught Dion how to manipulate all forms of light to get the most artistic imagery he could imagine.

When it comes to capturing timeless style, we believe in striking the perfect balance between classic elegance and modern flair. Drawing inspiration from the past, we aim to create images that will withstand the test of time, while still reflecting the couple's unique personalities and tastes. Whether it's the grandeur of a traditional church ceremony or an intimate outdoor gathering, we understand that every aspect of the wedding contributes to the overall ambiance.     Took our money and disappeared

    Our wedding is in 4 weeks. We paid the deposit and have been unable to contact Dion to schedule our final details meeting. His emails bounce back as undelivered and his phone is turned off. Just glad we discovered the scam before our big day.

    Great Quality

    Great quality, very nice gentleman, and the way he made all of us feel valuable and respected. He supports LGBT and didn't hesitate to help when someone needed a ride or to put on a tie. Thank you Dion!

    Loved my photos

    Blown Away

    I am blown away by the photos we received from our engagement and wedding session with Dion. He was responsive and professional but most of all he made my fiancee and I feel very comfortable during our session. He went above and beyond my expectations and ensured we received the highest quality photos.

I can put together a wedding either 24 hours notice if you are in the Colorado area but I typically prefer to book at least 6 to 8 months in advance. That way we can get to know each other better and it makes for an easier flow for your special day.
Some projects are larger than others and when I need assistance I look no further than my partner in life, my wife, and/or when her schedule allows my daughter who I believe is a better photographer than me. She's in high school and figuring out her path so she's not available at all times.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Yes, and I also have a videographer on retainer if the job requires it.
In my 7 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
