Hi, Im Carol DeAnda, born and raised in the southwest suburbs and now living in Lake in the Hills Illinois with my studio in downtown Algonquin. I have always been the one with the camera since grade school, but it wasn't until high school I realized that this could be my calling. After high school, I attended Harrington College of Design for the Digital photography program and started on my path to becoming a professional photographer. I am a PPA member and CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) as well as a member of The Wedding Equality Alliance.

I was raised in a small town an hour west of Chicago and I grew up in a rather large family of six boys and only one sister! It's shocking I turned out as “girlie” as I am. My love for the arts came from my parents and my love for photography was a gift from the Lord. It was born out of a painful portion of my childhood, but the Lord used photography to mend and heal me. Photography has been my therapy and I’ve found peace and tranquility behind my camera.
