Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. “We could not be happier after choosing Blurred Vision to play on our special night. Even though we booked them over a year out, Bruce and Christiana were always available and eager to answer any and all of our questions. Working with them both could not have been more stress-free and easy. They did a fantastic job with the emcee work during the ceremony and reception and read the crowd all night to make sure everyone was having a great time! Not only is their standard catalog of songs diverse and great, they knew we are both huge Dave Matthews Band fans, so they went out of their way to surprise us and all of our guests by learning and playing a difficult DMB song in the middle of the dance party. I was very stressed and worried about picking the right band for our wedding, and boy am I glad we choose Blurred Vision. Kara was the most amazing person to work with - she took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, what kind of music we were excited about and what to avoid... and she absolutely NAILED IT. Our dance floor was completely packed from start to finish. As a queer couple, we really wanted to work with vendors who identify as and/or have a lot of experience with queer couples. Kara checked those boxes, making us feel SO affirmed and comfortable. We wanted classic rock for the majority of our cocktail hour and created a list of artists for Rick to work from which he played the perfect set. The music was a true reflection of us which is exactly what we wanted. We had a great time dancing the night away with our family and friends. “Everything about Pocket Change was a perfect addition to our wedding. Choosing our band was a major priority for us, as we know from experience they can make or break the reception. Pocket Change was everything we wanted, and more. From our first meeting with them, we felt comfortable and heard. They did a fantastic job of listening to our preferences and adapting that to what they were best at to deliver a great performance. They also did a great job of suggesting additions to our "must plays" that really went with the vibe we were looking for. Also, as a side note, the bride is a teacher, and we loved that Pocket Change is a band of music teachers! In addition to being absolutely perfect as a wedding band, they were also extremely affordable! We worked with some amazing vendors all around, but Pocket Change is the first review we're writing, because we really wanted to thank them for what they did to make our day special. We had a miscommunication with our venue about who was in charge of ceremony audio, and Pocket Change was able to jump in last minute to provide audio for the ceremony. They also let one of the bride's best friends join them on stage to sing Dancing Queen, which was so special for the bride and groom. There was a small issue with the wireless microphone during speeches, and their technician was able to jump in and solve it immediately! They were great at going with the flow and making situations that could have been stressful not at all. In almost every conversation we have had with guests since our wedding, someone has brought up what a great band they were. Hire Pocket Change - you will not be disappointed!!!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Although we didn’t have all the answers at our final meeting- we didn’t feel in trouble or pressured to decide things on the spot. Jeff was patient and willing to assist us in deciding things at a pace that we felt comfortable at but also gave him time to prepare. On the day of our wedding and even conversations still following the wedding, everyone has said Jeff could read the room. He knew when to play a genre, how to transition to the next- and the selection was incredible. He even let me borrow a mic and sing to my guests when my favorite karaoke song came on! There was not a single regret choosing Jeff and Mystic entertainment for our wedding day and we hope this review allows someone decide it’s simply the best choice!”

The dance floor was packed all night, the transitions were seamless, and every song choice kept the energy high. Spenser read the crowd flawlessly and created an atmosphere that was fun, elegant, and unforgettable. The professionalism, communication, and attention to detail throughout the entire process made us feel completely at ease on our big day. In addition the uplifting brought an even more fun vibe and complimented our decor perfectly. We also got a Photo Booth that was a huge hit all night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and would recommend them to anyone looking to have an amazing, unforgettable wedding.”

“Okay brides just book them!!! I wish I could do 200 stars because that’s what they deserve. The amount of people who came up to us through out the night to comment on the music was the most rewarding feeling, because I completely agreed! The combination of live acoustic, with dj is so unique, stood out to everyone, and was worth every penny. The planning process with them was so easy, and they even put my mind at ease by just sharing their insights, while also listening to what we wanted. Joseph perform our first dance song live, which was my favorite part- it wasn’t your typical “slow” song, but we loved it anyways and he really executed it beautifully. We were all in awe of the whole experience. I ALMOST didn’t have them incorporate the live sing a long at the end, but after they described the vibe on our last call I changed my mind and let me say- I’m so glad they did it. One of my friends told me they felt like they were at a concert. We wish we could relive that night over and over again. I really can’t thank Joseph and Erika enough for taking such great care of this experience and creating the night of our dreams!!”

“DJ Motiv was extraordinary. I was so impressed by his professionalism, communication, and willingness to make sure our night was perfect. I was skeptical at first with some reviews mentioning that the DJ’s weren’t playing the songs they chose. I immediately reached out and that was informed that it would not be an issue. ALL of our chosen music was played, with some song requests of guests (with bride’s approval, per DJ motiv - loved that). DJ Motiv checked in with us constantly, even to make sure our food was at our table, if we needed drinks, if the music was going well, and if there was anything he could do. He was going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I even threw in special requests during my wedding, including him stopping my parent dance half way (on purpose) as if the music turned off, to take the mic and give a short speech. He did it phenomenally. I had a game request, with him being the commentator and director of, and he took that role and ran with it. The wedding guests LOVED him. I have nothing negative to say about his services. Even the photobooth was done great! I also had a custom sign made, with our new last name, and it was perfect! Such a great item to be able keep, and you get a year warranty on it. Anyway, I highly recommend this DJ!! He MADE our wedding perfect. Everyone loved him.”
