yes we carry double the required minimum in new england.
We have yet to find a polite way to say no requests so we take them regardless. This doesn't mean we will play them lol. That all depends on your vibe and your do not playlist.
YES! we have a small discreet setup that includes a lab mic for ceremonies. This includes all the precessional music and a cocktail hour mix.
Typically it ranges between a vest and bowtie but we have done some unique weddings. Like swimwear for a beach wedding in mexico or a harry potter costume for a themed wedding.
Part of what you pay for is all the time and effort that goes into keeping our music library not only up to date but taking advantage of a lot of good remix djs. Some older music can become relevant again just with a twist to appease the older and younger crowd at the same time.
We pride ourselves on not being the cookie cutter dj. most of my couples hire us on the shear fact we don't stick the wedding top 100. I try to make every dance floor unique by designing it on the fly. We don't have a set playlist walking into the event. We use your top 10 must play and intertwine that with what your other guests want to keep a high energy atmosphere.
Depending on the setup some require a lot more time. The majority of them are done in less than 30 minutes but we show up about 2 hrs prior.
We provide all sorts of lighting options. When covid hit we couldn't safely keep up with what was needed to keep our Photo Booth. So we have a few companies who give the same excellent service we do the we can refer.
