The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Aran DJ’ed our wedding at a farm in November. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Before the wedding: He communicated clearly and responded quickly to all of our inquiries, usually responding within an hour to emails! He asked really clear and simple questions that helped us clarify our goals and needs. We gave him murky instructions since we were overwhelmed with all of the choices we had to make for the wedding, and he translated our vague thoughts into a straightforward timeline, plan for equipment, and playlists. He communicated with our other vendors efficiently to make sure everyone was on the same page. He even helped us figure out how one of our friends could play guitar on an amp while walking between the locations. At the wedding: Aran went above and beyond. He showed up early and DJed our outdoor cocktail hour as a bonus. He DJed our outdoor chilly ceremony and stepped in to fix last minute microphone and lighting problems. I heard from everyone that the audio was clear and at a good volume, which I was worried about because we had hard of hearing guests. At our reception, at our request he helped orchestrate an EPIC hora dance, one of the best ever. He then emcee’d the night’s flow, calling up each person to give a speech, calling tables to the buffet, etc, in a way that was subtle and efficient. And then the dance party… the dance party!!! It was so epic. Aran brought a cool multi-color light, and played all the hits, took requests, asked me (the bride) like one or two questions when he needed to, and was just really fun and lively and down for whatever the crowd wanted. Aran, we are so grateful to you for helping to make our special night so wonderful!!! Thank you!!!”

“Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”
