A friend who was married about five years before me in a different metropolitan area recommended Toast - she had used them and was pleased with the final products. The beginning of working with Toast was great - they were communicative, answered a lot of questions (and I had a lot), and were willing to be patient with me as they were one of the first vendors I booked. I didn't expect to hear anything for a while, as my wedding was still 9 months away. As we got closer, my planner tried to make contact with them, and our point of contact seemed to change constantly. Eventually, my planner was able to get things situated. But I had to reach out to ask the videographer's name a week before the wedding, and I never got to speak to him. Toast had access to the timeline my planner created, but still needed me to fill out a different form. Okay - I get it's a contractor that subs out, but a little annoying. The day of the wedding, someone walked into my hotel room after the agreed start time and started recording. He didn't initially introduce himself, and when he did, wasn't who Toast told me was coming - so now I needed to figure out who this stranger was. In the midst of trying to get in touch with someone from Toast (but it was a Saturday, so no one answered the phone) and work with my planner to figure it out, my lovely photographer jumped in. But in the process of helping me figure out who this person was and get him on the right timeline (he was an hour off, despite my having to fill out *their* form), she wasn't able to take all of the getting ready photos that I requested. So there are no photos or video of me and my wedding party getting ready. Thankfully, we were able to get me and my mom. Throughout the night, he vaped around us and our guests, he would disappear for a while, and then eventually left I think a little early. Toast reached out the following Monday to apologize for the confusion and lack of communication and asked how they could make it right. I asked if they could confirm whether the videographer was able to capture the last dance, and instead of trying to get that information for me, got defensive about the timeline. So, I still don't know. It's been about three weeks since the wedding, so I have no final products yet, but I will be sure to update this review with my opinions on those.
