About this venue

Nestled in the Jamul hills of Fowler Canyon, The Fowler House has been a long-time, family-owned property. Now for the first time, this hidden gem is open to the public for privately hosted events. Reminiscent of a coastal Hampton's style property, the venue sits on a little over eight acres of land and hosts multiple location options for your next event. Ask about renting the whole house for the weekend! (personal information protected by Zola) We specialize in smaller more intimate events. The house sleeps up to 12 comfortably. The Fowler House offers a tranquil stay for you and your guests! Located 25 minutes from downtown, you get seclusion as well as the San Diego Charm. We look forward to hosting you and your guests for a night or more under the stars.

Great venue!
This is an awesome spot for any type of event! We did our wedding here with a small group (40 of us) and it was truly magical. The Fowler House team was really easy to work with and even went above and beyond to make our day special. We are thinking of renting the house for our baby shower next :)

All events require a day of insurance permit with our venue listing as an additional insured party. All vendors are required to do the same.

No, there is no additional fee for using your own vendors. They just need to have proper insurance listing us as an additional insured party.

The house is available for rent for the weekend with an additional fee. Please check out our Airbnb for base pricing, an additional event fee/contract and cleaning fee are required.

Yes, if you wish to book the event space only the following is included. Bridal suite, groom suite, and outside spaces. The inside of the house will not be available unless an additional fee is added.

Yes, we do not charge additional for this.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 30 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.

Your reservation includes 8 hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $200 per hour.

All events must be wrapped up by 9:30 pm and vacated by 10 pm per the city noise ordinance. NO exceptions.
