I hosted my sister’s baby shower at The Cordell and it worked out really well. The space had more than enough room for all of our guests, and we were able to arrange things in a way that made sense for food, games, and gifts. The natural light gave the whole day a bright and happy feel, and the photos came out beautiful. Staff were easy to reach before the event and helpful on the day. My sister left feeling celebrated, and everyone who came told me how much they enjoyed the atmosphere.

Beautiful Venue & Wonderful Team

We had our reception at The Cordell and had an amazing experience. The space is new and modern, and the open layout allowed us to tailor everything to how we envisioned. They were flexible in working with our vendors, and we used their bar packages — the bartenders were professional and fun. The team was awesome and helped everything run smoothly. It’s also great to have a new venue right in downtown Bethesda. We had a lot of family and friends from out of town who stayed in nearby hotels, and they appreciated being close to everything. We’d definitely recommend The Cordell.

I was asked to organize a reunion banquet for 125 people in Bethesda, MD This was going to be a 40 year medical school reunion for colleagues who live all over the united states, with me personally in South Dakota. You can image my trepidation, not knowing venues, caterers, DJ,s etc. Initially I started with the large hotel venue where we blocked rooms. What a nightmare! Correspondence was by e-mail (couldn't use phones as the staff was to busy, I guess ) prices were through the roof and flexibility was limited from predetermined menus. Long story short I was fortunate to find The Cordell venue and as soon as I started my inquiries I was called by the owner himself. What a wonderful man!. He laid all my anxieties to rest. He connected me with caterers, decorators, DJ....etc. They were all excellent! Best of all was his beautiful Venue. The night was a huge success thanks to Kunal and his staff. We hosted our nonprofit's first-ever Wine Tasting Fundraiser at the Cordell and were very pleased with the venue and location. Kunal was great to coordinate the event with. He helped to connect us with a caterer and was very communicative and accommodating throughout the process!
