Rustic charm meets history and elegance at The Winery at Bull Run in Fairfax County, Virginia. With breathtaking panoramic views of the vineyard and neighboring horse farm, the traditional wooden elements, strung lights, and the romantic stone ruins of our historic Hillwood Mansion, our unique winery is the perfect venue for you to exchange your “I Do’s.” Our Events Team is dedicated to helping you curate your perfect wedding during the planning months and is there on your wedding day to make sure every little detail is just right on your big day!

With beautiful vineyard and mountain views, this space features reclaimed wood walls and hand-hewn beams. String lighting over our dance floor and expansive lawn creates a romantic and inviting atmosphere. Accommodating up to 200 guests, this picturesque space provides a classic winery charm that is sure to impress. Available Saturday-Thursday year-round.

Industrial Chic, Unforgettable Weddings.
Modern day industrial flair updates this vintage style building. The vaulted ceilings equipped with gorgeous wooden beams, skylights, chandeliers and the oversized stainless-steel tanks make it an unparalleled setting for your wedding. This space can accommodate up to 150 guests seated or 180 guests cocktail style.

The Hillwood Mansion Ruins
Our Most Popular Ceremony Site!
Once the location of a historic mansion, the ruins are a unique and functional backdrop for your ceremony. Your ceremony takes place on the old porch, which is elevated and creates a perfect sightline for all of your guests to watch you say your "I Do's." Hillwood Ruins also features an expansive lawn and beautiful vineyard views. The Hillwoods Ruins can accommodate up to 200 guests and can be included in all wedding packages.

The Barrel Room incorporates reclaimed wood, stone and lighting accents and features historic artifacts to add to the charm of our historic venue. The covered patio and open courtyard provide the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor space for your cocktail hour and reception. Designed for intimate gatherings of up to 90 seated guests, this is the perfect space to make memories with your closest family and friends.

The Perfect Setting for Our Perfect Day
We chose this venue because of how absolutely gorgeous it is and the incredible sense of history. It really stood out from everything else we toured. From the beginning, communication with the team was excellent and made the planning process so much easier. On the day of our wedding, the coordinators were amazing, especially Jamie, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The attention to detail was outstanding, and it truly showed in every aspect of the day. Everything throughout the day flowed seamlessly, and each transition felt effortless. The team did an incredible job keeping everything on track while still making the entire experience feel personal and truly centered around us. It never felt rushed or rigid; just perfectly guided so we could fully enjoy every moment of our day. One of the most special touches for us was that they even had someone on site to keep the museum open, since both of our families love history. That meant so much to us and really made the experience unique. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and would absolutely recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run, and thoughtful place to get married.

Such a wonderful venue!
We had such a wonderful reception at this venue! The staff was so kind and informative throughout the whole process, from the virtual tour to the cleanup on the day. We had Jaime and Kali with us on the day, Caroline and Erin also helped with planning. Our space was the Production Barn and it suited our needs perfectly. The wines were amazing, we had a great time tasting them all during the walkthrough and they were very much enjoyed. Having the Barn’s patio expanded the space and gave our guests more options. Overall happy with how our event turned out!

Amazing reception
The Winery at Bull Run was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. Their communication throughout the planning process was very thorough, and they were incredibly responsive to all of our questions and requests. On the day of the event, the execution of the decorations was marvelous - the space looked absolutely beautiful. Erin, our coordinator, was amazing and made the entire night flow seamlessly. She set up the decorations exactly as we had submitted, and even made some wonderful additions that elevated the look and feel. Erin is truly spectacular, and her attention to detail and care for ensuring our special day was perfect was unmatched. We could not have been happier with our experience at The Winery at Bull Run.
