The Olio Lighthouse is a 1,200 square foot event space in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn with the original details like skylights, a rooftop, vintage fire doors, a lofted nook, custom speakers, and a rustic wood stove on a checkerboard tile floor. Two rooms that open into one, seating for up to 60, a built-in poplar bar top and kitchenette ready for your caterer. We've been running events in Brooklyn for 10 years under the Think Olio banner, which has connected us to a real network of DJs, florists, wine people, food people, all tried and tested. We know how to make a night feel effortless and unique and it would be an honor to bring your vision for an intimate wedding to life.

The Lighthouse is a 1,200 sq ft loft designed for intimate gatherings and parties. Original fire doors, a wood-burning stove, and two oversized skylights flood the space with natural light. A custom-built bar, abundant plants, and a loft- nook give the room a warm, layered feeling.     A Space That Wows

    I hosted my fiancé's surprise birthday party at the Olio Lighthouse, and I honestly couldn't have picked a better space. From the moment you walk in, it feels incredibly cozy yet sophisticated. The bar area right at the entrance immediately sets the tone- it gives you that "it's party time!" feeling before you've even fully stepped inside. The space is full of charming, eclectic details that make it feel so unique. One of my favorite features was the upper loft deck with a ladder, where a few people could sit cross-legged and hang out. The lounge area is comfortable with cozy sofas, shelves of interesting books, and thoughtfully curated pieces throughout. There was even a beautiful farmhouse-style sink that somehow became a conversation piece! The dance floor/DJ/projector area was another highlight, especially with the disco ball adding the perfect touch of fun and atmosphere. The hosts were just as amazing as the space itself. Communication was always open, quick, and effortless. On top of that, they were incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. They even helped us set up before the party and assisted with cleanup afterward. While guests should absolutely do their part, those thoughtful gestures really went above and beyond and made us feel so supported. Every single guest was blown away by the space. More than one person jokingly asked if it was available to rent as an apartment because they loved it that much! Everyone had the same expression walking in - that mix of surprise and excitement you get when you discover a space that's truly one of a kind. In a world where so many spaces lean toward the same minimalist aesthetic, this place has so much warmth, personality, and character. It made the celebration feel even more special, and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again!

    Intimate Space for Cosmic Celebrations

    My 35th birthday celebration at Olio Lighthouse was absolutely incredible. Chris and David made me feel like they were invested in my celebration from start to finish—they double-checked that I had everything I needed and helped me work out creative ideas to bring my birthday vision to life. The venue itself has this intimate, cozy feel that made it perfect for celebrating with my closest friends, and the artistic touches throughout the space really made everyone feel at ease dancing and enjoying the evening. I loved that they let me bring in my own DJ, cake, and dinner, and their disco ball and projector added the finishing touches that made the night feel cosmic and unique. The team's supportive energy and clear communication took any stress out of planning, and honestly, I had the time of my life. I'm already looking forward to celebrating there again!

    Beautiful, hip space. 11/10 recommend!

    100% recommend the lighthouse. if you're looking for a hip, fun, casual chic loft space, this is perfect for you. We were able to transition seamlessly from happy hour to everyone sitting down to party vibes. Disco ball tops the cake. Chris and Davide were gorgeous to work with. If you like the space, don't hesitate!

    Great Party Space

    I had a small party at Olio and I loved it. The space is gorgeous with a relaxed Brooklyn vibe. The little nook up the ladder is really special, as is the wood stove if it's cold, and there's everything practical that you would need to host a party in the space. My DJ as well as a lot of guests commented on how good the sound system was. I love working with Chris and David, they're both super sweet and happy to help. Definitely recommend!

Our space is on the second floor of a shared building and guests walk up one flight of stairs to access it. There is no elevator in the building.
There is street parking in our neighborhood.
