My name is Katie and I am The Hoppy Wife. THW was born out of a love for all things weddings and meticulous attention to all the little details. I am a Vermont based Wedding Planner and have a degree in Hospitality Management and Events Management. I have over 10 years of industry experience and have developed a strong passion for planning, refined designs, creating beautiful spaces, and making visions come to life. I live with my husband and our dog in VT but grew up in MA. I am a crazy plant lady & flower lover! I love adventuring in all the seasons.

I am a firm believer in going with your gut and doing what makes YOU happy. There is so much that goes into wedding planning but you cannot forget about who you are and what you and your fiance stand for. These are some of the most important events of your life, so allow me to help you enjoy these moments to the fullest.

This is perfect for the couple that needs direction and assistance with the entire process but still want to be involved with the fun decision-making parts of planning. I am here to help you from the very start popping champagne to the very end of the night on the dancefloor. We will design, coordinate and execute this as if it was our own.

This package is a seamless blend between our day of coordination and full service planning offerings. You have your venue and date secured but we will assist you in your vendor selection and putting together the design concepts. We will be right there with you and work as a team to create this special day! THW promises a seamless event execution while making sure everyone is focusing on celebration and are comfortable throughout the day.

This package is for the couple that "sort of" have it all together but knows they can't be in a million places at once on the day. You have said yes to the dress, your invites have been sent, you have all of your vendors secured but you need some assistance when it comes to organizing final details and executing the actual day! We will ensure we are with you to manage the day seamlessly, so you can focus on celebrating.

    Hiring Katie at the Hoppy Wife as our Day of Coordinator was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding this past July. She was AMAZING and went above and beyond in all aspects on our wedding day. She was so organized, friendly, calm, and easy to work with. She oversaw all aspects of decorating our venue, ensuring that the timeline ran smoothly, and helping with every single task big and small. MANY of our wedding guests have since asked us where we found our wedding coordinator and told us that Katie was the best. Katie was the reason that our wedding was as stress-free as it was. We cannot recommend Katie enough- hire her, you will not regret it!!!

    Hiring the Hoppy Wife was one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding! Prior to our wedding weekend Katie was communicative, detail oriented and personable in all of our meetings. Her experience in the industry was apparent and she brought up things that I would have otherwise looked over. Her support and services the weekend of our wedding were truly invaluable. Having her at our wedding allowed us to be as present as possible because we knew she had everything under control. Katie ensured everything ran smoothly, from the big events to the tiny details like folded napkins. We realized moments before our ceremony that we didn't know where our rings were and she ran around looking for them while somehow maintaining her calm demeanor. We were on the fence about hiring a coordinator and I'm so grateful that we hired Katie. If you want to make your wedding day as seamless and stress free as possible, hire the Hoppy Wife!

    Katie was our day of coordinator for our wedding at the beginning of June. To call her our day of coordinator seems incredibly too simple for her actual role and what she meant to us. I cannot recommend Katie Hopkins enough. We originally hired Katie because of her extensive experience within the wedding and events industry. Right from the beginning of the process, Katie was communicative, personable, organized and incredibly reassuring. Within days, she had created an entire google drive that held all of our vendor information, documents, photographs, timelines, schedule, & questions/answers. Everything was interactive and beyond impressive. During the month prior to the wedding we met virtually several times to secure details on the upcoming day. I was adamant to have a “diy” wedding and bring the majority of items into my venue. Katie was supportive of my entire vision and lended her assistance and expertise in all aspects of the wedding planning process. Upon our wedding weekend, Katie arrived excited and prepared. While we had only met virtually prior, our relationship and collaboration was seamless. She has an incredible sense of organization and attention to detail. She went above and beyond all expectations even prior to the wedding beginning. She had three separate sites to organize, decorate, and execute. At one point, my bridesmaids went to offer any assistance with setup and immediately returned saying, “She’s crushing it!!” During the wedding some of her highlights included assisting with timelines remaining on schedule, communicating with vendors, offering her help when needed and adapting to unforeseen obstacles. Feedback from my guests raved about her efficiency and calm demeanor. Her presence at our wedding allowed me to present. As mentioned, I cannot recommend Katie enough.     Katie was absolutely incredible during the month leading up to the wedding. She has a very sweet and comforting demeanor that makes you feel at ease amongst all the chaos and stress that a wedding can bring on. She was also organized, efficient, prompt, caring, and reliable. The day of the wedding she even stayed later than expected to ensure everything was taken care of. We definitely recommend her as your wedding coordinator. All your planning and last minute details will be a lot easier!
