    Lawanda single handedly set up and teared down our 180 person wedding. She took on a DIY wedding (from me, an insanely unorganized type b bride) all alone and with a smile on her face. She was timely and made things work even with a lot of odds against her! She was easy to communicate with and determined to never allow me to stress or worry about a thing. I will never be able to thank her enough. She made my wedding a night I will NEVER forget

The Southern Gal experience is stress-free, creative, and a relaxing experience. Southern Gal Weddings and Events have officially been in business for about 6 years. Over those 6 years, I have provided services from planning to event design for over 50 weddings. I specialize in custom details. This is your day and no one should have a day that looks like yours.
Southern Gal Weddings and Events is a family-owned business. LaWanda is the lead planner however there are 2 other members that serve in the day-of-coordination and/or event setup capacity.
I plan all types of events! Showers, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, birthdays (child & adult), rehearsal dinners, and more. You name it, I plan it!
As much or as little as needed. I don't have a set amount of time because not every couple is the same.
I typically do not take multiple weddings or events on the same day. Multiple weddings on the same weekend are possible though. It depends on the needs of the couple.
I am very reasonably priced. My prices are fair and reasonable.
My typical process to to fully understand what the customer needs are. From that point, if the customer wishes to hire me I will provide a invoice via PayPal. A minimum non-refundable deposit (depending on date of event) is required to secure the date. The final amount is due no later than 14 days prior to the event. All payments are accepted and processed via PayPal.
I started doing this work when I planned my own wedding after I could not afford to pay a planner because they were all so expensive. The day was so stressful that I wanted to provide a budget friendly service to reduce that stress on others where ever I can.
They should know what they want. That will make it easier for the professional to quote pricing accurately.
