Did not show up
I do not recommend Lea or her company due to issues with communication, professionalism, and transparency. Lea did not show up on my daughter’s wedding day after spending months planning together. The wedding was a large wedding at the Savannah Yacht Club, so it was critical that we had a fully prepared planner that was knowledgeable about the event and had previously met us. We had been repeatedly assured that my daughter’s wedding was a priority to her company and that we would be the only wedding on her schedule. However, Lea surprised us the morning of the rehearsal by telling us that she had booked two weddings at the same time and would be attending the other. Lea sent a sweet (yet underprepared by no fault of her own) lead planner in her place. My daughter, her bridal party, and our families had to answer questions and help the lead planner and other vendors in ways that were far more than expected or appropriate for the day of. Despite communication from bridal party and lead planner, Lea did not come help and has yet to offer any explanation or excuse. The lack of professionalism and the way that Lea surprised our family, as well as every other vendor, was unacceptable.

Poor Experience
Lea did not show up on our wedding day. We do not recommend her services, and we would caution vendors to be wary of working with Lea. When we booked her almost a year in advance, Lea assured us that we would be the only wedding her and her company would book on that day. However, the day before our wedding, she surprised us with the news that she did indeed have TWO weddings at the SAME time and would be attending the other wedding. Our wedding was a 250 person event at the Savannah Yacht Club, and needless to say, the bride, both families, and many guests local to Savannah were very upset and surprised to learn that the planner would not be attending. We were informed with 36 hours notice that a "lead planner" would be attending in Lea's place and Lea would be "checking in". On the day of, the wedding was chaos for anyone involved behind the scenes. The bride was bombarded with questions from the "lead planner" who had very little information, as she was not included in any planning sessions prior to. The lead planner did her best and was very sweet, but she had been given an impossible task to manage this wedding on short notice with very little help. Therefore, it fell completely on the bride to manage and coordinate her own wedding day. The bride was asked questions all day long that had been previously discussed with Lea and was even sidelined off the dance floor multiple times to answer questions such as "when does the band go on a break?" and "What bouquet are you throwing? Where is it? When?". While taking pictures before the ceremony, we had to pivot to a rain plan. However, with no planning guidance, everything fell on the photographer to overhaul Lea's timeline. The couple ended up missing the entire cocktail hour due to planning errors and needing to take all pictures after the ceremony. When the lead planner, mother of bride, maid of honor, etc asked Lea to please come and help, we were met with complete radio silence. Vendors were shocked and distraught that Lea didn't show up at all. Since the wedding, there has been no communication, no apology, and no explanation.

Love Lea & LM Events!!
My husband I are so grateful we had Lea and LM Events to bring our wedding day together! We had a destination wedding in Savannah, so we had NO idea which vendors to use. Lea led us to all of our local vendors—from flowers, to the DJ, to videography—and let me tell you, they were PERFECT! She totally got our vision and got us connected with the A-team of wedding professionals to bring it to life. We opted for the partial planning package, which was ideal for us, as I wanted to take an active part in planning our wedding. Our big day went off without a hitch—the schedule flowed seamlessly, everything was set up beautifully, and we and our guests had incredible time. Thank you, Lea!!

Seaton/Dean Wedding 4/5/25
We live in Iowa and our daughter wanted to get married in Savannah. Planning a wedding is not for the faint of heart and destination weddings take that to another level. We could not have pulled it off without Lea! She was a godsend for us, from working through the many location options, beach vs park, to nailing down our complicated timeline, her guidance was invaluable. Lea was always way ahead of our questions and has a great list of local vendors. All the vendors we crossed paths with on wedding day absolutely love working with Lea and her team. Dream planner!
I recently got married in Savannah and truly wouldn't have been able to do it without Lea and her team! She was an absolute lifesaver during this entire process and went above and beyond in every single way. She is so knowledgeable about every part of the wedding planning process and was an absolute dream to work with. I cannot recommend Lea enough and anyone getting married in the area should absolutely book her team - you won't regret it!
