At Epic Events Group, we are a team of wonderfully experienced event planners and coordinators that absolutely love what we do. While we manage several of our own venues, the heart of our company is utilizing our supportive packages all over San Diego County and the surrounding areas at venues that may seem less manageable or lean more on the DIY side. Any venue that allows outside coordination, we can support you at! We work with each couple individually based on your budget, style, event preferences, location radius, etc. to not only find the right venue, but support you from there all the way through the wedding day with our amazing team!

We have a very unique business model that couples love! We can include as much or as little as you need to give you the right support. While our packages can include full service planning, photography, videography, DJ, florals, rentals, catering, etc., every event looks and feels different because it is a completely custom experience for each couple.A big part of what we do is help couples find their perfect venue then help fit the mold of that location's specifics to fill in the gaps of what it is missing. We can also jump in after you've selected your venue to get the planning support started from that point! We are here to help! :)

Description

Our full service planning is normally grouped with our renowned photography and/or videography studio - Epic Events Studios - to give you a more supportive package as well as one of our partnered wedding DJ's :) We work with you on finding the perfect venue, budgeting and picking vendors like catering, rentals, design elements, etc. It is a full team to support you 7 days a week from the very beginning of the process the end of the event!

Day of Coordination is included in all of our packages. We are there in the very beginning of set up to coordinate set up, vendor arrival, timeline, announcements, event details, wedding party needs, family support, service and all clean up of rentals, decor, etc. Our goal is for you and your loved ones to come and go as a guest while we cater to your needs! :)

We work with couples in all settings and try to work with all budgets for events big and intimate. We have created magical memories in backyards, Private Estates, Rental Homes, at parks, at the beach, in the mountains, etc. Tell us what you are looking for so we can support your intimate celebration :) We can provide the photography, planning, coordination, florals, etc.

    Truly Wonderful Wedding Experience

    We recently had our wedding this past February at The Secret Garden in Rancho Santa Fe, and we had such a positive experience working with the Epic Events team. From the planning process through the wedding day itself, they were organized, professional, kind, and incredibly easy to work with. They helped keep everything on track, paid close attention to the details, and made us feel calm and taken care of every step of the way. Knowing they were handling so much behind the scenes allowed us to actually relax and enjoy the day. On the wedding day, the Epic Events team made sure everything flowed smoothly from start to finish and made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything. We especially appreciated how warm, reassuring, and attentive they were throughout the entire experience. The Secret Garden was already such a beautiful setting, but Epic Events helped bring everything together in a way that helped make our wedding even more fun than we imagined. We’re so grateful to the Epic Events team for helping make our wedding day feel so special. We would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a caring, and reliable team to help make their wedding day dreams come true.

    "Happiest Place" to get married in San Diego

    The Secret Garden is the 'happiest place" in the world, ok--in San Diego--to get married! We set out with this criteria: We wanted our wedding day to be MEMORABLE. And it truly was thanks to EPIC.. If you are wanting to create a truly memorable wedding day, this is your place. If you're looking for intimacy where you don't have to share your special day in the middle of a hotel, on public or hotel grounds, or on the lawn of a golf course, this is your place. If you love to be surrounded by flowers and greenery without a hike in the woods, or at a public park, this is your place. What else makes a wedding memorable, is not just the day of, but the lead up to that special day. And that's where the EPIC team shines. We felt like royalty where we catered to, and that our every wish was their command. We felt the TEAM working with and for us to help us create that memorable wedding day. Kendra--whom we first met, not pushy in any sense of the word. Laura--the lead wedding coordinator who walked us through everything. Always with a huge smile, a hug, and creating everything with ease, confidence (which gives you confidence) and so chill. Drew--our coordinator the day of who walked us through not one but 2 wedding rehearsals because we weren't sure how the weather would be---and on the day of , he waited till nearly an hour before the wedding --cuz he knew we wanted to have it outside--to confer with us that the wedding would have to be inside--which was very LOVELY, by the way. He added so many special touches I can't count them. Mary--the manager, who was by our side when negotiating with the vendors. Always available. DJ Shy—OMG! He and I worked together fabulously, even at 7 am the morning of our wedding, we were fine tuning something that I wanted. And he delivered. As I write this, I realize the theme is: EPIC goes ABOVE and BEYOND to serve you and make sure you truly have the happiest wedding day! Rain or shine!

    BEST DAY EVER!

    Where do I even begin!! I am SO grateful for the epic team. I was lucky enough to meet Kendra when touring the secret garden. Despite not going with that venue, my fiance and I knew we had to work with Kendra and the epic team, and it was the best choice we ever made for our wedding! First, Epic has it all, a catalog of DJ's, catering options, bar options, photography/video, florists, and a long list of other amazing vendors that covers all you could ever need or want to plan a perfect day. On top of it all they have the BEST coordination team you could ask for! When looking for a different venue, Kendra went above and beyond to provide various options and really fit exactly what we were looking for. We ultimately ended up booking the Lakehouse Resort in San Marcos, and we were able to bring the inclusive package from Epic that included photography/videography through Epic Events Studios, coordination and support through the whole proccess and day of, DJ as well as their suggested photobooth and florist as well. All of the vendors were amazing and so professional, and really helped make the day so special and fun. The epic team handled getting insurance info from vendors, coordination with them for the wedding day to ensure no hiccups and all the things in between. Laura, our coordinator was truly an angel and made the whole experience so stress free. From our first coordination meeting, it was like meeting up with an old friend. She was so excited, supportive and open to all ideas to make our day perfect and tailored to us! She worked with our venue and vendors to ensure everything was aligned, and helped us curate a perfect timelime and layout for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Through the whole process the team was responsive, and always willing to help with any questions and ideas we had. The communication and reminders/updates were so reassuring too. I truly was so at ease during the process and never had to stress. Fast forward to the day of, and Laura made sure everything went off without a hitch. From setting up all the decor (she went above and beyond!) ensuring vendors were where they needed to be, to making sure the ceremony, reception and timeline went smoothly, everything was PERFECT and there was genuinley not one hiccup (if there was I never knew about it!). I never once had to worry or check on anything the whole day, and friends and family were actually remarking about how calm and stress free I was! I owe most of that to Laura and the team, because I trusted her completley and knew she had it covered. I truly can't praise this team enough, thank you again for making it the perfect day that friends and family are still talking about! I promise you will not regret working with Epic!
