Calhoun Events Studio
I’ve worked in everything from venue management, catering to festival planning and corporate events but my first love is all things WEDDINGS! My love for plants and flowers started as a child listening and watching my father care for his house plants, but I truly dived in after his passing! It was a way to connect to him and I realized I had I finally found my calling in life. As a wedding planner and floral designer, I get to merge my love for sculpture, flowers and weddings all into one. My sole purpose is to make sure my clients are at ease knowing their event is tailored specifically to them! Your wedding will tell the story of YOU!
I love a good timeline, excel sheet, smooth event and big smiles from my couples! That's exactly why I got into this business so that I could share my passion with others! As a “retired” painter and sculptor, I truly feel like I use my eye for detail and craftsmanship to my advantage when designing. Its cliche to truly love your job, but to me it is not work, its what I was meant to do!

This service is perfect for the couple that wants to fully enjoy their engagement, without any stress of planning. From visiting your venue to making sure your shoes are in the car on wedding night, Calhoun Events Co collaborates with you every step of the way ensuring that you are calm, excited, and blown away on your wedding day! | This includes everything offered in full planning except set up/breakdown for over 80 guests & CECo securing the venue, catering, bartending, and photography. Those would need to be secured by the couple before the planning process begins. (We still provide a detailed budget as your guide and offer insight along the way as you secure those vendors!) | This service begins 60 days before your wedding and focuses on final logistics, timeline creation, and onsite management for 10 hours. Please note this package does not include event setup or breakdown. If needed, that service is available as an add on. | A complete wedding design from ceremony to reception! I bring your vision to life. This package includes full floral design using fresh or silk florals, whichever you’d like. |

The BEST wedding planner/ Florist Ever!!!
We hired Calhoun Events Studio for our full planning package and couldn't have made a better choice. Daisha was incredible from day one—she responded to every question quickly and handled every detail with care. She managed our flowers too, which meant we truly didn't have to worry about a thing. For over a year leading up to our wedding, the planning process felt effortless instead of stressful, and on our big day everything ran smoothly and looked exactly how we imagined it. If you're busy or tend to get overwhelmed, I'd say the full planning package is worth every penny. We'd recommend Calhoun Events Studio to anyone getting married.

I cannot say enough good things about Daisha and Calhoun Events Studio!!! We booked Daisha about a year in advance of our wedding, and she did a great job of staying in touch throughout the entire process. She was attentive, organized, and very helpful. She was not only communicative with us, but also with all of the vendors. When I went to do final check-ins with our vendors, I found that she was already in contact with all of them and had plans for all of the little details, which made our lives so much easier as the wedding day approached. She was positive and supportive throughout the process (which was noticed not just by us, but also our families, guests, and vendors). Finally, during the day before and day of the wedding, I truly cannot express what a great job Daisha and her entire team did! She knew exactly which family member to go to if there was a problem or question, she was so helpful (I just had to look in her direction and she immediately headed towards me to help with whatever I needed!), and she and her team handled things with grace, which led to everything running smoothly! I received many compliments from guests as to how great her and her team were during the event. I would definitely recommend Calhoun Events Studio to all brides!! Thank you, Daisha, for everything you did for us!

Professional day of coordination

Daisha was the coordinator and florist for my wedding in May 2024. I could not have been more BLESSED to have found her! Every step of the way she made me feel so calm and confident that my vision would be executed and that I was taken care of. Her communication was perfect. My bouquet was perfect. The decorations were perfect. On the day-of, everything was smooth-sailing thanks to Daisha and her team at Calhoun Events Studio being so kind, organized and professional.
