Giana DeGeiso and Jamie Rosler founded Broadly Entertaining toward the end of 2017, after almost seven years as professional collaborators and close friends. Our combined experiences with theatre performance & production, improv comedy, weddings, games & game shows, and event planning, created the perfect foundation for this unique business we get to run together! Jamie leads our Austin-based branch, coordinating & officiating weddings that reflect your personalities & priorities, honoring the unique love you’re celebrating.

BE is a for-profit company that dedicates a portion of its earnings to non-profit groups committed to fighting for the most important issues of our day. Getting to participate in weddings is a true joy! Our SCOTUS Special donates a portion of fees to the queer-focused organization of a couple’s choosing. More queer weddings, please! Jamie fun fact: 3x game show contestant who’s getting pretty good at taking care of her plants.

Description

We charge $185/hour for the a la carte handling of specific planning tasks and bookings. This can begin as soon as you start planning your wedding, within the final weeks, or day-of for up to 3 hours.

For a true elopement, with just you and your officiant in one location, planning and officiation are both included with our Deluxe Ceremony. The ceremony itself may be customized to reflect your story and any rituals you want to incorporate.

Our most basic offering covers an eight-hour day, managing and executing a timeline that you prepare. We're with you from the ceremony through dinner, or perhaps just the reception and cleanup. Choose the window that's right for you! Unlimited communication starting two weeks out from the big day.

    Jaime was incredible start to finish. She helped to keep things organized, was prompt with messages and answering questions and created the most beautiful ceremony specific to us. We filled out the wedding questionnaire and Jaime printed our responses and gave them to us after the ceremony and it was such a sweet gesture. I could not be more thrilled with the choice we made in working with Jaime

    Jamie was absolutely lovely. She is inclusive, easy to talk to, and flexible. We were both writing our own vows but really nervous as to how to convey something unique but meaningful. Jamie provided us with a questionnaire (which was honestly fun to do!) that majorly constructed our vows for us as well as with several examples. Honestly the vows turned out so well I can’t believe we wrote them. Not only is Jamie prepared (even to help you with your reception as an extra set of hands), she is willing to learn new skills to make your experience perfect. Highly recommend!

    Wow, wow, wow! We are blown away by how amazing and essential Broadly Entertaining was to our wedding. We never knew we could have it so good and could not have done it without them! We used BE for both day-of coordinating and DJ/Emcee services. From the moment we met, we knew we were in great hands. Giana was so friendly, personable and cheerful. She took the stress out of planning and helped us work through the logistics in a fun and easy way. Broadly had resources to help guide us and make sure they knew all of our intentions and plans. Even though they were only helping us with day-of coordination, we still had a few calls to plan and go over details plus they came early for the rehearsals the night before. Come the day of the wedding, we surrendered to the flow. Giana took charge but made everything fun and enjoyable. It was really important for us to keep the stress out of our wedding weekend and Broadly Entertaining perfected that. They were there for anything we needed - it was only good times for us, no bad times at all! (If there were any issues, BE handled them without us even realizing!) The wedding day was on time, problem-free and perfect. Giana was a true entertainer and host - keeping the crowds laughing and having a good time. And let us not forget to mention the MUSIC! DJ Colin was incredible! The music was an essential part of our wedding weekend as big live music fans. It was critical that we had a DJ that understood what we wanted and could curate the best playlist and begin our Party Time! We worked with Colin over multiple calls to discuss our musical tastes, backgrounds, no-play and must-play lists. We decided to integrate a Silent Disco so they helped us figure that out. The music was amazing from the first song to the last. The dance floor was raging all night! Not only did we get so many compliments about the music, but they played later than planned and shared the list of songs played so we could relive the night. I wish we could do it all over again and again. All this to say that we highly recommend Broadly Entertaining for your wedding or event. They were professional but also personable, welcoming, thoughtful, organized, so much fun and worth every penny to make our day so special. Everything was right. They were the perfect companions to take on this wedding ride - truly the finest in the nation. Thank you Broadly Entertaining! We are so grateful for everything you have done and so glad glad glad you’ve arrived on this scene.

    Finding Jamie and Giana is the key to making our dream wedding come true! We couldn't be happier to have them involved in our wedding! We had our marriage ceremony at the center of a frozen lake in the mountains. It's the poetic wedding that we always dreamed about but didn't dare to think of realizing it. With their passion and profession, we made it within only one week of preparation. During the whole time, they provided brilliant ideas, tackled the issues we faced, and offered so much extra support without hesitation. Also, they are proactive and super easy to communicate with from the beginning. We loved them since the first time con-call with them! Their friendliness and sincerity made us feel like planning it with our old friends (and we are really friends now!), making the whole thing a great memory. Truly thank you for everything you did for us, Giana and Jamie. We love you! You guys are the best!!
