To begin the booking process, please fill out our official inquiry form at www.sheiluxbeauty.com. Be sure to include your wedding date, location, and the number of services needed. A signed contract and retainer are required to officially reserve your date.
To secure availability on high-peak wedding dates, we strongly recommend booking 6–12 months in advance. For off-peak dates (typically weekdays or non-holiday weekends), up to 3 months out may be sufficient depending on availability. We do not recommend waiting until last minute, as popular dates fill quickly.
Yes! Shei is based out of Queens, New York and offer on-location services throughout the tri-state area and beyond. Travel fees apply depending on distance, and destination bookings are welcome with accommodations.
Our bridal experience includes a personalized trial session, luxury skin prep, custom hair and makeup styling, and a complimentary touch-up kit. Hourly touch-up packages are also available —and highly recommended for humid or long wedding days to ensure a flawless look from vows to reception photos.
We understand how important it is to feel confident with your bridal artist/stylist. Most packages include trials, but trials may also be booked separately without commitment. Please note: if a trial is scheduled without securing the wedding date, you’ll have 1 week from the trial date to confirm your booking. After that, we reserve the right to accommodate other inquiries for that date. If you decide to move forward with booking us after your trial within the deadline, your trial rate can be deducted from your bridal package [if it's included] at no extra fee.
We can style small or large parties. For group size of 3 or more, additional artists/stylists may be scheduled to maintain a smooth and timely experience and travel rate per artist may be applicable.
Yes! We pride ourselves on being inclusive and experienced in working with all complexions, textures, and cultures. Whether your desired look is classic, modern, romantic, full glam or editorial —we tailor it to you!
Only top-tier, camera-ready products are used, including brands like Dior, Tom Ford, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Fenti, Clinique and many others. We also offer airbrush makeup and clip-in extension installation as à la carte upgrades —available by request for an additional fee.
Yes, there is a 2-service minimum for bookings. This can include hair and/or makeup for bridal party, or a bridal hair and makeup service.
All retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. Rescheduling is not always guaranteed and will depend on our availability at the time of your request. We take on retainer with a signed contract to guarantee availability for your wedding. However, we recommend reaching out as early as possible if your plans shift and may accomodate with a rescheduling fee if new date is available.

    We couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist for our wedding day. From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she do our hair and makeup beautifully, she also stayed for touch-ups and made sure everything looked perfect throughout the day. She is so thoughtful and generous with her time in every interaction. That level of care and attention truly reflects the beautiful person she is inside and out. I don’t usually wear makeup, and I was amazed at how comfortable I felt—the makeup was so light and natural that it felt like I had nothing on, while still enhancing my features perfectly. Her work is stunning, and she made the whole experience calm, easy, and special. We are so grateful to have had her as part of our wedding day. She will be my go to every time :-)

    Amazing Hair and Makeup!

    I hired Shei Lux to do the hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids and just makeup for my mother and the grooms mother. I went with the Luxe bridal package which included a hair and makeup trial and the second I met Scheilys I knew I made the right choice. From the trial to the day of, Scheilys and her team made everything so easy and everyone's hair and makeup looked flawless the day of!! Between my bridesmaids and the mothers we had a wide variety of ages, skin tones and hair types as well, and Scheilys and her team handled it all with ease. I would not hesitate to book her again!     The work that was provided was phenomenal! The application lasted the whole day and survived my happy tears! The make up applied made me feel as special as I should on my special day. Everyone had only good things to say about my hair and makeup and wanted to know who was my stylist. Shei went above and beyond helping me and staying longer than she needed to. She came prepared and came with extra hands for my large party. She provided me with an emergency kit , which came in handy. I loved the luxurious package!
