Lindsay Block got her start as a hairstylist in New York City. She trained at the renowned Frédéric Fekkai Salon and spent nearly a decade at their chic Soho location before venturing out on her own. She delivers a fresh, modern, and effortless approach to hair. Originally from California, she has lived internationally in Tokyo and London, calling NYC home since 2001. Her effervescent personality is infectious and she has the innate ability to adapt her creative vision, collaborating seamlessly with her clients. Especially the connection with her brides, most of whom are lifelong clients!

NYC Day Rate includes : Bride + 3 additional people. Present for all styling, touch-ups, first looks, photos, and veil application up until the ceremony. If additional touch-up time or bridal look changes are needed, an hourly rate is available. Additional people can be negotiated upon request.

Yes. I have a team of stylists available for larger groups and time constraints.
Yes. 75% of my brides use extensions. I will go with you to the Hair Shop to choose them and match your color.
Yes. A pop of color and sparkle can add amazing dimension and shine on the big day, especially in photographs. I can help you determine a timeline leading up to the wedding day and refer you to amazing colourists in the city.
Yes. If need be, we can absolutely do a treatment. Especially for summer weddings when fighting frizz can be an Olympic sport. We can discuss options and plan a timeline that works for the look and style we want for the day of.
I do everything!!..but my aesthetic is modern, romantic and a little undone...classic looks with a twist. I love working with texture, waves, braids, and accessories. I want you to feel and look beautiful on the big day and finding a style that is an extension of who you really are is my top priority.
NO WORRIES...I'm known to do multiple looks on one bride!! It's so fun and it's your day so why not?! i will help you decide & finalise your one perfect look...or create multiple options for the day : a style for your first look, ceremony, first dance, reception, evening dance party, change of gown...the sky's the limit!!

    Lindsay is the BEST!!

    I worked with Lindsay at a wedding in NYC this past fall and I can't wait to work with her again! She created the most perfect old hollywood style waves for this classic NYC bride. So often, hair like this doesn't make it through the day, but this still looked amazing as the reception was coming to an end. Plus, Lindsay was super laid back, kind, and easy to work with. Everything was done right on schedule too! I can't recommend Lindsay enough!
