    BEST DJ/MC EVER

    when looking for DJs I wanted to make sure that I had picked someone that was also an MC Matt knocked it out of the park. I had so many people come up to me the day after the wedding and say how awesome it was. He kept everyone on the dance floor like I requested the entire night. We didn’t stop dancing! Matthew did our ceremony cocktail hour and reception, The processional songs and everything that I had picked was played perfectly on time. The flow between the ceremony and cocktail hour was very fluid. As for when the parents and bridal party were introduced, he reviewed everything right before walking out just to be sure it was perfect and it was. There was no standing around wondering what was next for mine and my husband‘s dances, the parent dances everything had a perfect flow. I also wanted to do the table game where the bride and groom run around to each table and try to take photos as fast as we can Matt recommend recommended a song we use and it was PERFECT. As far as my playlist I added, maybe 40 songs and I really just told Matt to go with the vibe and keep people out on the dance floor and pick whatever songs he thought. From Motown to 80s hits to current country to 2010s R&B with such a wide variety of music I didn’t know how it was gonna be, but that dance floor was packed all night and it was because of Matt I couldn’t have gotten a better person to spend this day with us while being overall amazing. He was also so keen on little details to make sure that our day flowed perfectly. I would book him again and again if I could. We also got the Photo Booth add-on, which I think everybody should do. We got so many photos from that night that were so candid but also so many photos of people just enjoying their night.

    Great work

    We had an amazing experience working with Rachel. She communicated clearly throughout the entire planning process, which made us feel confident in our choice. On our wedding day, she made my wife look even hotter, which is much appreciated!!

    Incredible on All Levels

    Rachel from Beats & Focus did the photography for my wedding and reception and she was phenomenal!! She perfectly captured everything I would have wanted to save from the day, the pictures are beautiful, stunning quality, with a reasonable turnaround time. Rachel worked closely with me on all the details and was so accommodating. Thanks to her, I’ll have these memories preserved forever. I cannot recommend Beats & Focus highly enough.

    Incredible team to work with!

    Beats and Focus was the perfect business to hire! Firstly, the fact that they offer a dj, photographer, and videographer, is amazing when you are trying to make so many decisions! They were the perfect photographer, videographer, and dj for our wedding day. Our wedding was small but they made us feel so at ease and comfortable with each of them. Their communication style was thorough, passionate, and detail-oriented, which made the whole process incredibly exciting and I knew they had their piece of the puzzle handled. We had a call with Matt and Rachel before the wedding to go through each detail which was amazing and so helpful! The quality of their work was truly gorgeous - they are clearly experienced professionals who pay close attention to every detail. They took the time to really get to know us and work with us to make sure our vision was brought to life. The video they created was absolutely stunning, capturing the most beautiful parts of our day in a way that brought us to tears. Our pictures were crafted meticulously, ensuring that each detail was perfectly captured and we looked our very best. Rachel spent lots of time with us both at our engagement shoot and wedding day making sure we got the pictures we wanted!! In addition, their DJ Matt was amazing, helping us out with our ceremony and keeping the reception fun and on schedule. We couldn't have asked for a better team to document our special day. Yes, we work with 3 different videographers to provide video services in addition to photography, DJ, AND photo booth! We also offer a ceremony video as an Add-on to your DJ package.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-8 weeks after your wedding.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Sometimes. I’ll bring one assistant depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra. However, an extra photographer would be a separate charge.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
