About Abigail Kirsch Catering

The seeds of the business go back to the 1960s when Abigail started a cooking school from the basement of her home. Her entrepreneurial spirit and early success drove her to quickly expand the school to a retail outlet, and few years later, her husband, Bob, sold his company to join her in launching the catering business. Their son, Jim, joined the couple in 1980 and has been running the business with Partner & Chef Alison Awerbuch since the early 2000s. Through the years, the DNA of Abigail Kirsch has never changed. Rooted in the belief that, “We are only as good as our last event,” its culture centers on creativity, planning and flawless execution. The company’s mission is to execute events in which the client feels like a guest and guests feel as though they are in someone’s home.

We had the pleasure of having Abigail Kirsch cater our wedding, and they exceeded every expectation! The food was absolutely incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. From cocktail hour to dinner and dessert, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. The staff was professional, attentive, and made sure every detail was taken care of so we could truly enjoy our day. They helped make our wedding feel effortless and unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better catering team. Highly recommend Abigail Kirsch for any wedding or special event!

We asked Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill to create an all vegan wedding. Their food was truly delicious and it is not easy to make excellent vegan food. The entire wedding experience was made very easy for us. It was very professionally handled. They answered every question. They anticipated our needs before we anticipated them. I highly highly recommend them. We had a truly wonderful wedding thanks to them..

Look No Further - Abigail Kirsch Is the Best!
Don't consider Abigail Kirsch. Book your wedding at Abigail Kirsch! From beginning to end it was such a wonderful experience! Our Event Coordinator was absolutely amazing. He made it so easy for us to enjoy our day, knowing that he would take care of everything. The venue was gorgeous, the service impeccable, the food outstanding, the presentation beautiful, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. What more could you ask for? We would highly recommend having your wedding at an Abigail Kirsch property. You will be in great hands!
