We are one of Central New York's popular wedding entertainment companies. Owned and operated by Utica/Rome native DJ Kenny The Promo Guy. Our mission is to provide our clients with a truly memorable, high quality and professional wedding experience, tailored to their needs. With 22 years of DJ experience, Kenny is a husband and father of two young boys. He works on-air at 97.9/105.5 KISS-FM and at Mohawk Valley Community College.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail, getting to know our couples on a personal level, and listening to you to make your day special. Every DJ has speakers, music, lighting and sound. It's what we do off the mic and behind the scenes that makes thing special for our couples.

We are very fortunate to be able to say we book anywhere from 16 to 20 months out from our clients wedding dates. We feel clients should choose their date, venue, photographer and entertainment to ensure they are to secure the vendors they want to work with. We know last minute changes take place and dates change so please be sure to reach out to us.
Absolutely! I encourage couples to meet with me in person or to chat on the phone to make sure we are a perfect fit for each other.
Yes, we require all clients to have a signed contract. This document secures our obligation to our clients and lists exactly what is required and expected for the event’s success. It will explain the entertainment setup requirements and other factors related to our performance. The retainer fee and signed contract need to be submitted before we officially secure a date.
Yes, we have full liability insurance and can provide proof to venues when necessary. This insurance protects the venue, the client, and the DJ.
We need to be prepared for the unexpected. We carry another complete back-up sound system with us at all times. This includes back-up speakers, microphones, laptops and lights.
