Hey there! I'm Matthew, a veteran photographer with over 25 years of experience behind the lens specializing in budget-friendly, high-quality photography based out of Leander, Texas. I have been shooting since I was about ten years old on 110 cameras, in high school I learned to shoot on a 35 MM camera. Professionally I accepted my first paid shoot in 1996, a boudoir session for the girlfriend turned wife of a friend deploying overseas with the Army. I earned $50 and a six-pack of beer for a one-hour session on a Canon AE1 35 MM film camera I bought at a yard sale.

“Matthew is an excellent photographer. Matthew got recommended to us by our venue Texas old town. We called a few other photographers but his prices were the best and after getting our touches up pictures we are impressed and he delivered amazing results. From the beginning Matthew was so easy and flexible with the booking and payment. We agreed on a contract and met day of the wedding. The day of the wedding he jumped right in, me and my husband were busy and he noticed. he wasted no time getting detail shots and looking back at it I’m glad he did. those small moments mean so much and during getting ready that was never communicated and I’m glad he took initiative to do this. Matthew walked us through poses and easy going, he broke the ice with both of our families and this was a big plus for us as the pictures were fun to do. Matthew was so helpful in more ways than photography, he and our DJ were willing to work together if we didn’t have a wedding coordinator. We had multiple family helping with this but if your getting married you may have seen wedding coordinator prices and you will see why this is soo important. He also kept us on schedule. Throughout the wedding he came up to me and my husband asking if we were okay. HE HELPED CUT OUR CAKE. He walked us through the pose and how to do our first bite and HELPED SERVE CAKE TO OUR GUEST. My wedding was perfect and waking up the next day to have the raw photos available, it’s very clear Matthew cares deeply about his profession and it’s so understandable why he gets so many good reviews. I will recommend him every chance I get and he will be my go to photographer. Thanks Matthew!”

I showed Ann a few inspiration pictures, and at the trial she absolutely exceeded my expectations!! I couldn’t stop looking at the pictures leading up to my wedding. The day of, Ann showed up on time, set up quickly, and was clear about any other items she needed. She stuck to our timeline and gave ever girl the look they asked for flawlessly. With a couple of tweaks like adding in my hair clips, Ann once again exceeded my vision and created a definite conversation piece for the night! It was exactly the look I was picturing and more, I got so many compliments and my flower girls thought I was a Disney Princess. Which I call a win! From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! “Honestly I don’t have one bad thing to say about the make up it was perfect, I loved the make up and hair it made me feel like a Barbie. I did the trial first, which I do recommend it, because we changed a few things from it for the wedding and that just made it exactly what I wanted. The reason why I’m giving it 4 stars it’s because of her not being based in Phoenix so it makes it less flexible. I asked her like 5 months before the wedding if she could remove just the hair of one of my bridesmaids because she got pregnant and wasn’t coming, and she said no because of the travel she already was counting with that money which I understood. Then for the trial, I got my date (which is hard to request specific dates with my work schedule ) and she canceled last minute ( in her favor it was a really good reason). Then I tried to book it the next month like we talked about and she had another issue and couldn’t travel to do it, so we didn’t have the trial until a few weeks before the wedding, which was okay but I just feel like I was being very flexible to someone that was not being flexible to me at all. And even though she said she doesn’t charge for travel fees, she did charge me 260 for the drive to one area in Phoenix to the venue, which I think it’s a little high (but I’ve never done this before so it might be normal). And my last complain is she told me she was going to give me a touch up kit for the wedding, and when I asked for it she gave me a used lipstick and some setting powder with no brush or sponge or anything, that did not help at all to retouch my make up after some tears. She probably just ran out of them. But like I said at the beginning I have zero complains about the actual make up and hair, it was perfect I do recommend her a lot if you live in LA, if you are out of her area just keep in mind there won’t be a lot of flexibility. (I put pictures of the wedding and trial )”

“DJ Dana did our wedding on 8/31/24 and we highly recommend him! He took into account my wedding playlists, and knew when to play the right songs. It took a lot of stress out of our day. He was very early, and set up with plenty of time to spare. His speaker system and microphones for toasts worked great. He brought his own lights to add to the party and even added some to our sweetheart table to spice it up! He was very thoughtful, and even sang us L-OV-E by Nat King Cole very tastefully and casually while people were finishing dinner. Highly recommend… thank you DJ Dana!”

“From the moment we stepped into Watson Block we just knew it was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. If your vibe is intimate, romantic, old world charm this is your spot. Pictures don’t do it justice and it’s so beautiful you truly need very little to make it your own. Gaby was incredible for the entire planning process all the way through to our big day. We did almost everything ourselves- including creating an arch to be married under, to signage, to table decor, even our own wedding flowers. Gaby answered every question with ease and was incredible at assuaging my nerves. She and her team set things up perfectly from the ceremony to the switch for dinner and then dancing. I often questioned if we needed a day of coordinator and was so happy I didn’t waste my money on one because it wasn’t needed. I never knew a day could be as truly magical as our wedding was and a huge part of that was how much we loved our venue. I would happily suggest it to anyone asking. The other huge bonus is it was truly one of if not the best value for venues in the twin cities. This gem will continue to gain notoriety as an incredible venue for years to come!!”
