Hey gorge! My name is Jonna Jackson and I own Riot Beauty Bar right here in the DFW area. While I'm still a stay at home dog mom to special needs senior pups, I live for the excitement of handing my brides a mirror to see their final look. Ive been in business for 5 years and absolutely love what I do! I take pride in using REAL unfiltered straight from the camera roll, ensuring my brides with a look they love in real time and professional pictures. My booking process is simple and my inbox is always open for questions! ** I am currently offering 15% off all remaining dates in July-September**

I strive to provide a seamless booking and stress-free trial and wedding day experience for all my brides. I meticulously combine my bride's ideas to a look they'll feel their best with. I specialize in doing natural brides, but as a former emo kid, I love alt brides and full glam as well! With my bride pricing starting at $250 for wedding day hair+makeup, I offer competitive rates for most of the area.     Jonna made our getting ready process so smooth and seamless. From pinning my curls to her skin care prep, everything was intentional and my glam lasted all day through the evening! Booking and scheduling my trial was super easy, absolutely recommend and will use her again!

    If I could give zero stars I would. Jonna cancelled on me less than 24 hours before she was supposed to provide services for my wedding. She did not show any effort to provide or find a backup. She then kept half of the i paid (fully upfront) for a few months and only paid me back (in portions) when i asked…. She also forgot and was late for my scheduled trial and during the trial she told me she preferred a different lip color on me than i requested and therefore went with her preferred lip color… This whole experience caused extra chaos and stress on my day and contributed to me having to do my own HAMU in 1 hour before ceremony as well as caused the other girls who signed up in my party to rush to do their own HAMU. Overall, she came off very unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate and basically used my upfront fee as a loan… she is not the type of professional you would want to give the time of day especially for such an important day..

    Hi Ali, I’m truly sorry for the stress this situation caused. I had an unexpected medical issue and absolutely hate that I wasn't able to make it. I did make efforts to find a replacement artist, however, none were available within the time frame you needed services for. Also, I did just confirm on my end that you did receive the full amount I take full responsibility for the disruption this caused and regret that it added stress to your wedding experience. My intention is always to provide a seamless experience for my brides, and I sincerely apologize that I was unable to do so in this circumstance.

    Riot Beauty Bar was a dream to work with for my wedding day! Jonna responded quickly to all of my questions and requests, and really went above and beyond to make me and my bridal party look and feel our absolute best. My makeup looked amazing and held up perfectly, even in the rain. She even accommodated each of my bridesmaids and my mother, offering services beyond what I had originally requested. I felt so pretty and confident on my big day thanks to Riot Beauty Bar!
