“We had our first DJ call with John Pitone and there was no reason to interview anyone else. From the very beginning he made us feel comfortable with him and he projected a confidence that all of our requests were not only possible, but would be easy for him to accommodate. Our wedding was near the 200 guest mark and when we told John that he responded with excitement and couldn’t wait to face the challenge of getting 200 people on the dance floor. “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! “The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”

“DJ Pat Ryan is the best there is!! Everything was PERFECT, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. People loved the food, florals, venue, etc. - but we received by far the most compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. He was always available to chat via video call or text if needed. And his shared spreadsheet helped us immensely during the chaos that is wedding planning (especially planning from abroad). As soon as we reached out to Maggie we knew that she would be an amazing fit. She was thorough in her emails, and incredibly responsive- I never had to follow up with her or wait on her to answer questions. She was also so kind in her emails, and we could tell how much she loves her job. On the wedding day, we had a few curveballs thrown at us due to weather, and Maggie was super flexible as our coordinator worked out the details. A really sweet touch that I loved was that she came over to check on me and my husband during cocktail hour and dinner to make sure we were doing well and to see if we needed anything. “TLDR DJ Nate delivered on the exact music energy we wanted, communicated directly with our venue regarding his needs for setting up his stuff so as not to make more work for us, and the fact that he was 100% committed to doing the job he promised despite the weather event of the decade — for these reasons, DJ Nate gets our highest praise and our strongest recommendation. Thank you so much!!! DJ Nate is amazing. We got married in the snowstorm of the decade (yes…that January 2026 one that shut multiple cities down). DJ Nate he assured us that he was planning to leave extra early to have plenty of time to arrive and get his equipment set up with a foot of snow already on the ground and he delivered and he did just that. He was already up and running to welcome us with cocktail hour music when we showed up 30 minutes early (we too left very early to get to the venue in the snow). He is a consummate professional who takes seriously that people spend a great deal of emotion, money, time, and logistical resources to make a wedding day happen, and that even unprecedented weather events cannot stop an event that has that much planning go into it. He has a calm about him that makes interacting pleasant and stress free. I felt confident he was going to take care of everything and he did just that. We gave him a vibe for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (as well as specific songs to play at specific moments and then a must-play playlist and “I really like this, please work it in if it feels right with the crowd playlist”) and he nailed everything. We had a multicultural wedding with a long list of songs from my husband’s culture (songs in a language which does not use the English alphabet) and DJ Nate was able to get every song we requested and played them all despite the fact that the titles and artists names may as well have been written in gibberish to him. The timing was great during the ceremony, speeches, etc. He completely respected that we did not want cheesy, intrusive MCing during our wedding. He played the role of man behind the curtain who kept us all on schedule and vibing and he played it perfectly. DJ Nate gets our highest gratitude and recommendation.”

“From our first conversation, Tipsy Wicked proved to be kind, patient and genuinely interested in making our day special. They have their own unique vibe which we love. They took the time to learn my entrance song, a song no one has ever heard of, and literally made the moment perfect. I was nervous about having vocals for my entrance, but the lyrics were so important to me. Christine and Seth assured me that the vocal pieces would be delicate and would only add to the moment. They were right. Hearing the words that meant so much to us while I walked toward Jake had me crying before I even got to the front. As for the reception They were incredible and set the exact mood and even got excited about learning High School Musical songs. Despite being a smaller group, they brought the party and made our reception feel like a celebration with friends. Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and parties and as he grew older demand for his company’s services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings. Ken gradually handed the reins of the company over to the very capable hands of his brothers, Jon and Dave Schaffer.

“I was so nervous about the DJ portion of our wedding because it seems to be something that a lot of couples end up unsatisfied with, and I'm such a music junkie. But Schaffer delivered all around when it came to communication, organization, and overall bringing the party. Chris, the owner, walked us through everything really early on, and they have a system for filling out every single thing you could want from first dance songs (and how long you want them to last) to do not plays and must plays. I got to take my time perfecting this and it made me feel so good about everything. Big Mike, who was our wedding DJ, came with a HEALTHY dose of good vibes. He made me feel so comfortable and excited about how everything was going to go, he helped organize the wedding party entrances, and he made everyone feel welcomed and warm throughout the night. The dance floor was filled! My favorite thing he did was take note of when I finally got to the dance floor, and he played all of my "must play" songs so I had a chance to dance to all of my favorites. That was so thoughtful and it was such a delight to get to dance to these songs after such a crazy day, I got to totally let loose. Cannot recommend these guys enough! So professional, so chill, such a joy to work with. I hope I see them again at a wedding soon!”

“Sam is THE MAN!!! He and his band are absolutely phenomenal. He performed at our wedding in April, and we still have people commenting on how amazing the band was and asking who they were. “Eclectic Entertainment was fantastic to work with for our wedding! After the initial phone call, they set up the entire timeline and music on a convenient online portal, which I really appreciated. The week before the wedding, I was able to speak directly with DJ Big George and our photographer JP to finalize all the details. DJ Big George was fabulous - he kept the music flowing smoothly and read the crowd perfectly, even though I didn't provide a detailed playlist. JP the photographer was fantastic! Had a great personality and always there to capture the important moments, like when my dress broke right before the ceremony and he offered tools to help the girls fix it! He spent extra time making sure we were posed well and I cannot wait to see the photos! Eclectic Events truly made our special day even more memorable.
