This is the best venue I've ever been to!!! My husband and I could not be more pleased and appreciative of everything the Riverview Ballroom team did to make our wedding a huge success. I have no words - my wedding in the Reserve was the most perfect day of my life. We only saw two venues and we must’ve just had a gut feeling from the very beginning. From working with Desirre (who was incredible) throughout the planning process, to our day of coordinators and the maitre’d the night of, it was seamless, beautiful, and a BLAST. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had at any wedding and there’s sooo much of it. Really can’t say enough good about this venue. Maitre'd Linda went above and beyond to create the most seamless day possible. From the cocktail hour to the dinner reception, the food was absolutely DELISH! If you have the opportunity take advantage of the fresh mozzarella station. Beautiful presentation and unique fresh pulled mozzarella. I highly recommend Frungillo Hospitality Group as a catering vendor. There are not enough kind words and warm thanks I would give them!

We got married at the smoke rise village inn and couldn’t have been any happier. It was truly our dream wedding and Kelly was extremely helpful from beginning to end answering any questions we had. The staff was very attentive and went above and beyond even getting drinks and making plates of food during cocktail hour for my grandmother. The food - oh my gosh our guests still talk about it to this day ! Even some of our high maintenance picky eaters were accommodated which I’ve never seen anywhere else. I worked with Kristian, and she was awesome. Answered all questions very quickly, and was very accommodating throughout the planning process. Our day was beyond amazing. If there were issues, I had no idea. I attended my own cocktail hour, ate dinner, danced the night away, and was able to enjoy myself in all the ways people tell you that you can’t as a bride. This is without a wedding planner, as well. At DCI, they truly are a one stop shop, and you can have the perfect day without the hassle of coordinating a bunch of vendors yourself since many of them (preferred and nonpreferred) are accustomed to the venue. We used their preferred florist, Fleurs Divine, and I have to recommend Monika within this review as well. She is knowledgeable, professional and makes your vision (and Pinterest board) a reality unlike anything you could believe. I honestly wasn’t necessarily hyped over flowers, but the designs she created will remain one my favorite memories from my wedding day. To any future bride considering DCI, do yourself the biggest favor and book it.

I had my wedding here 10.14.23 and let me tell you, Everything was easy. From setting the date down to the end of the night of my wedding day. Sal and Jason are the absolute best. They made my wedding a dream. Everyone can’t stop talking about my entrance ( do it by the way totally worth it) down to the desserts, which they totally outdid themselves. We had our wedding at Grand Cascades in June 2022 and had such an amazing experience! Throughout the planning process we worked with Sarah, who was awesome all the way from planning the details, picking up the phone whenever I needed her, providing advice on anything I asked, and all the way through to the day of. She handled everything that came up with grace and kindness, even in tough family situations that arose. We chose CS Grand Cascades for a few key reasons (1) the amazing menu and presentation of the food (2) the beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces no matter rain or shine and (3) the value you get for your money. We also LOVED the fact that the hotel was on-site and we didn’t need to worry about transportation for ourselves or our guests throughout the day and afterwards. This provided SO many advantages, including access to the bridal suite all day and being able to take advantage of the hotel bar on-site for a causal after party without any extra cost to us. It is definitely an under-rated venue in NJ that we are SO happy we found! We were able to stick to our ideal budget while not comprising on quality of the event. I have been told by so many people how we threw the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. The event staff is a well-oiled machine and truly think of everything to make your day the most special and seamless experience. Highly recommend to all future brides!!

If you want to plan a wedding that no one will ever forget - call Nanina's in the Park.  I had been to a wedding there as a guest years ago and remember being impressed, but being a Nanina's couple takes the WOW factor to a whole new level.  The menu is absolutely divine, but they knock it out of the park with their customer service.  Wedding planning was a breeze with their team, and the day of was truly magical.  Sally, Deandra and Jason did not miss a single thing - they treated me & my husband like gold and made sure things were taken care of so seamlessly.  We had a Friday wedding, so we were offered the bridal suite from 7AM onward--with breakfast & lunch provided, which alleviated the question of where to get ready & when/what to eat.  We arrived at 7:30 AM and Sally was waiting with open arms (literally) to carry in all our bags, boxes, etc.  She made sure we had everything we needed, kept us on schedule and even fixed our centerpieces when they arrived a bit out of sorts.  Deandra took over for her when we returned from the ceremony, and she was just as delightful- anytime we needed something, she was immediately on it.  And then there's our maitre'd Jason--words cannot express our gratitude for him.  I don't know how someone can be so on top of every detail during such a busy evening, and still appear as calm & warm as humanly possible.  At one point during the reception, my husband wasn't feeling well and before I could say anything, Jason whisked us into our bridal suite and had warm tea & ginger ale for us within 60 seconds.  It wasn't one of the more glamorous parts of the evening, but it was a true example of their phenomenal customer service.  The team didn't just treat us like customers, they treated us like family.  They had our signature drinks at the ready at all times and consistently made sure we were okay without being overbearing.  A million thank you's to this incredible team for making our day so special.  Now that I've raved about the staff, let me rave about the FOOD!  Exceptional is an understatement--it's been a month and people are still telling me they're still full from our wedding.  Guests raved so much about the cocktail hour, someone even said they could die content if that was their last supper.  We did a buffet-style reception, and everyone was just as thrilled with all the stations provided.  Going into wedding planning one of my priorities was the dessert, and the Viennese display did NOT disappoint.  They had everything--my biggest regret was not getting to try it all!  Aside from the incredible food, the venue itself is just stunning.  We knew we wanted a Christmas wedding, and in our first meeting when Dominic said "no one does Christmas like us," he wasn't kidding.  The decor was simple but elegant, and many guests thanked us for their next year's Christmas card photo!  All in all, it was a perfect day at the perfect venue.  We both come from two big Italian families, and so far no one has had a negative word to say--and that's saying a lot!  If you are looking to book your dream venue, you've come to the right place.

Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.

There were quite a bit of rules and miscommunications along the way. This made the experience, especially during the end of the engagement season and the actual wedding day a bit dramatic and exhausting. However, this could be avoided if every single detail is ironed out from the very beginning and you are giving consistent reminders of what you're anticipating your day to be like. Overall, the venue is gorgeous and every single area of it is grounds for awesome photo-ops. On a gorgeous day, you will absolutely not regret choosing this location. Not only is it super affordable, but they also give you the freedom to pick your other vendors to create your ideal wedding (as almost everything else is kind of "a la carte"). A bonus is that you get the whole grounds on your wedding day, so that's exciting for you and your guests!

I am so glad I picked the Atrium of Tenafly. It is gorgeous and is a huge space. I needed a very handicap-friendly venue (my mother is wheelchair-bound) and this space was perfect, super accessible, and open. I love how you could also piece together everything at this venue to make it exactly as you want (you do not have to settle for specific vendors). Jacklyn was so great to work with, she communicated quickly and efficiently and was so helpful during the whole process. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

We knew that the North Shore House would be our wedding venue from the moment we walked in for the first time. We fell in love right away with how beautiful it is, both inside and especially outside by the lake. We were already convinced by that alone, then we met Eric, Kelly, Emma, and the rest of the staff who were so kind, professional, accommodating, and wonderful to work with that we were even more certain. We then went for a food tasting and were blown away. The food is amazing. (Don’t just book a wedding there for the food, go to the tavern and have dinner there. You’ll be glad you did.) Every single aspect of the planning from day one was made so easy by the staff. They made us feel special, like we were their most important clients ever. The people there are just absolutely the best, that can’t be emphasized enough. Then there’s the venue itself. The grounds outside by the lake where our ceremony and cocktail hour were are absolutely gorgeous. It’s all very well kept and you won’t find a more beautiful spot to get married. Inside where we had the reception has all been refinished and is just stunning. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the whole place. It’s not glitz and glamour, it’s classy and elegant and perfect. There are also a dozen or so rooms on the second and third floors, which we loved because we were able to stay the night with our family and friends after the wedding. The rooms are all refinished recently too and are equally beautiful. Let’s talk food. We did all night hors d'oeuvres rather than a traditional dinner, and the food was amazing. There was passed food as well as stations, and never a shortage. Everyone there said the food was great, zero complaints. There was so much, I couldn’t possibly list everything we had so I won’t even try. But it was SO. GOOD. If you’re thinking that maybe this is your kind of place for your wedding, don’t even think twice about it. There is no maybe. It’s definitely the place. We can’t thank the staff enough for everything they all did to make our wedding perfect. We love that we can even go back, eat at the tavern, and book a room for an anniversary perhaps. We couldn’t be happier that we chose The North Shore house!

Such a beautiful venue with an incredible offering. The full weekend package really allows you and your friends/family time to enjoy the whole process. Amid much fanfare, the bistro’s exposed red brick & hardwood floors, among other pristine features, beckons for an intimate setting. With its “cul de sac” facade, the bistro leads to an alluring outdoor garden where a plethora of vows have been ceremoniously exchanged “pun intended!!”

We highly recommend Bacchus as a wedding/event venue. My partner and I had an amazing wedding celebration at Bacchus in May 2023. Everyone could not stop raving about the beautiful space, savory food, or how intimate the event felt. The celebration went off without a hitch, due in large part to Bacchus’ event coordinator, Meryl, and her team. From the beginning, when we first inquired about holding the event at Bacchus, Meryl was extremely responsive. During the first meeting, she walked us through the restaurant, including the interior wine bar and two outdoor courtyards, described how the event could be set up, and answered all our questions. We stayed in close touch in the months leading up to the wedding to plan all the details and Meryl invited us to Bacchus for a wine and food tasting before finalizing the menu. Although we were already excited for the celebration based on the outdoor space and how easy Meryl made the planning, the food was the real clincher. We’ve attended far too many weddings with overcooked steak and lackluster fish entrees, but Bacchus’ chef showed that would not be the case with our celebration. When the wedding day arrived, we luckily had a sunny day (though Meryl assured us there would be outdoor coverage and more interior space in case of rain). In total, we had about 100 guests. Since we legally married at the courthouse the day prior, we launched straight into the celebration. We first hosted a cocktail hour in the wine bar with passed hors d’oeuvres, before everyone sat down in the courtyards for a four-course dinner. After that, we brought in a DJ for dancing inside the restaurant. Meryl helped coordinate the night perfectly; she was seamless in switching our music playlists during cocktail hour and dinner, providing a microphone set-up and accommodating time for speeches, and making sure that her staff were attentive throughout the entire evening. She decorated the restaurant and tables beautifully and even set up pictures, plants, and other décor and items like gift boxes that we had dropped off the day before. The four-course meal tasted just as great as it did during our tasting and received high compliments all around (the escargot, butternut squash tortellini, and steak with wild mushrooms were to die for). Meryl also ensured that the kitchen was able to provide kids meals for the few little ones that we had in attendance. The staff were diligent in making drinks and filling wine glasses and, overall, provided excellent service. We truly had the perfect, memorable evening for our magical occasion. For that reason, we would 100% recommend Bacchus for a wedding or event without any reservations.

We're not honestly sure where to begin with how over-the-moon ecstatic and thrilled we were to have our wedding at Black Walnut Farm. Let us start by saying that Jim & Sarah are the most amazing venue managers/people you will ever meet. Anything we needed help with, any questions we had, any concerns we wanted addressed, they handled them quickly and respectfully. Our original venue lost their permits and canceled on us 4 months before our wedding. To say we were stressed is an understatement. Somehow, through some magic of the universe, we found BWF. It was even better than our original place, and had everything we wanted. We found out they were brand new and didn't exist yet when we were looking. So, it was truly a blessing in disguise. Both Sarah & Jim jumped to help us gather our thoughts, our stresses and our ideas to bring our dream day back to life. Black Walnut Farm is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue (especially if you're looking for a fall wedding, as we did). Our dream wedding was always "vintage fairytale" and it provided that vibe to a T, with versatility for other themes as well. From the rustic cottage (that turned out to basically be our dream home); to the barn itself with its farm-style picnic tables and mismatched chairs (a dream of the bride's); to the grounds - everything is meticulously cared for. All the decor is designed beautifully and artistically by the two of them with each item being picked for specific reasons. Plus, you get Miss Lily, the Pro-purr-ty Manager, as an honorary wedding guest, so that was an excellent plus. Seriously though, if you're looking for a wedding venue in the area and you want a place where the managers are willing to go above and beyond and ensure your perfect day is exactly that; we honestly believe that you can not find a better option than Black Walnut Farm. All of our guests can't stop raving about how perfect it was and how beautiful everything turned out to be. We can't wait to come back and visit for an anniversary down the road so that we can relive the most perfect day in our relationship thanks to Jim & Sarah and their attention to detail. We could write a novel on our love and appreciation for BWF. We joke that they are our fairy godparents but they are so much more than that. My husband and I were married at the BVI in June 2021, and it was more perfect than we ever could have envisioned. The Sanctuary was formerly a church near The Octagon, a historic octagonal building on Roosevelt Island, now on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, the Sanctuary's original stained glass windows and locally quarried granite combine with more modern features, including a sweeping 40-foot ceiling and 30-foot marble bar, to create an effect that's nothing short of marvelous. The Sanctuary opens onto a covered veranda, complete with lounge seating and an Instagram-ready mural of Roosevelt Island. Beyond this lies the 4,000-square-foot Terrace, a beautiful reception space that can seat over 250 guests. Our wedding at the Sanctuary was picture perfect - from the view to the food to the accommodating and helpful staff, we literally could not have asked for more as we celebrated our beautiful day. The site is HUGE and has a lovely view of the East River/upper Manhattan, especially as the sun sets (we got AMAZING pictures!) We loved everything ... the ambiance of being in a historic building (it's a converted church with original stained glass windows!), the delicious food, especially from the wood-fired pizza oven, and the wonderful staff who took such good care of us and our guests. I really cannot recommend The Sanctuary enough. Such a gem - you don't find sites like this in NYC!

We did a partial backyard rental the night before our wedding as a place gather and greet our guests who came into town early. We had 40-50 people in a perfectly sized reserved section in the back of the backyard. The rest of the backyard was lively and energetic with other Threes Brewing guests which added a nice energy to the overall backyard. The Threes staff (I believe their name was Fletcher) taking our drink orders was super friendly and quick. We felt well supported across the night. We also ordered food from Meat Hook (2 x sliders, 2 x chicken sliders, 1 x veggies sliders, 1 x hogs in a blanket) and would order a little more food next time if we did it again. We would definitely have another event with Threes!

We held our mini-mony on site on our original date and our huge reception in October 2021. Annie was warm, always remembered personal details about us as a couple, super communicative, incredibly professional and worked flawlessly with all of our vendors. Our day went perfectly, we were able to incorporate all kinds of personal decor touches, personalize the incredibly delicious menu, and feel like we had a little slice of normal amid the panic of the last couple of years. We will always treasure our two weddings with The Garrison, and our guests are still telling us how much fun they had several months later. Honestly, I wish we could have another wedding simply to work with her. In fact, we can't wait until one of our friends chooses to have a wedding there so we can attend one.

As a professional, full time Disc Jockey, I have been to hundreds of venues over my 18 year career. When I got engaged, I mentioned to my fiancé that there were only a handful of venues that I would really consider for my wedding. Luckily, she trusted my judgement and after looking at a few venues, Stokesay castle was the wedding venue we chose. We could not be happier. Our team did an amazing job along with our banquet captain. Everyone was friendly and fun throughout the planning process and listened to some our unique yet workable ideas such as a late night boneless buffalo wing bar which I personally wanted yet never experienced at a wedding. Another point worth mentioning is that small details are not overlooked at this venue. My one concern was that my pasta bar may take extra time and drag dinner out and that I may be waiting in line a long time for food. As soon as the toasts and blessing were finished, my wife and I were immediately asked what we wanted on our pasta and the order was put in for us so we could enjoy time together without standing in line. I thought this was a great touch that I didn't even think of. I also enjoyed the flexibility as our DJs had the party rocking and we needed more time. The staff gave me plenty of options for the bar to go overtime and ways to fit my budget. This allowed us to enjoy the party for another hour. Post wedding, our guests would not stop complimenting the dinner service; especially the pasta station and wing bar. While I did not have my ceremony here, there is a beautiful area for that too. In closing, I would not have changed a thing and even requested the names of the entire staff who worked my wedding to thank them. Big shout out to Terri, Kurt, Amy, Joy, Jay, Jillian and Ian. Thanks for making our day a day we will always remember!

The Villa Roma truly offers a fully customizable bridal package. We were allowed to bring our own decor as well as borrow some too. You have several choices on ceremony locations. The Villas are a bit outdated and we had some plumbing issues, however maintenance was quick to respond. The reception hall is very nice and large, you can fit 100 people no problem. Again, fully customizing settings, decor and table placements. Cheryl is the events coordinator for the entire resort. Since she is in charge of all the events, she definitely has a full plate. If you are looking for a day of coordinator that can walk you through each second of the day, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to hire outside the Villa. If you are a type A planner, it would be my recommendation that you frequently email and coordinator with the team at the Villa. Cheryl was very accommodating and even moved our ceremony location an hour before starting, due to concerns with the weather. Alicia, who is the head bartender, stepped in and helped decorate, helped direct staff during the wedding day and she made the best signature drinks ever! She even popped in at our after party for more congrats! If you’re organized and know what you want, the possibilities are endless here. The views are beautiful, the food fantastic and the wait staff very helpful. I would recommend this venue.

Our experience working with Belleayre Lodge couldn’t have been better. Gigi, Angel, Brian, and Matt, worked together with us so seamlessly to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. We rented the property Friday through Sunday and hosted just around 60 guest. The guest who didn’t fit in the cabins, (and also didn’t want the late night shenanigans) stayed at the hotels literally right across the street. Our guest arrived Friday night and we hosted a rehearsal dinner with a food truck and cash bar (run by the lodge). Saturday was our wedding day. We got married at the local ski mountain (Belleayre Mountain) and returned to Belleayre Lodge for our cocktail hour and reception. The food was absolutely amazing during both cocktail hour and our dinner. We had a beer and wine bar, with local drinks, as well as homemade ice tea and lemonade. We had a cake from a local bakery and ice cream bar from a local creamery for dessert. Sunday morning we hosted a farewell breakfast. The coffee and food, again were phenomenal. The decor and little touches made everything perfect. There was so much thought put into ever part of our wedding and their passion showed in their work. I am so glad we took the chance on this new location. It truly was the best day!

The food was incredible and the drinks were even better. We've been getting non-stop compliments about our night on how fantastic the staff, venue and service was. We had our wedding at Hotel du Village on November 17, 2023 and it was absolutely perfect. We booked Hotel du Village because it felt so unique and special - and that is exactly how our guests felt. The venue gives such a romantic vibe, and our vision was able to be executed perfectly from our outdoor ceremony at dusk, to dinner and dancing in both ballrooms. The staff at Hotel du Village was incredible, especially on the day of the wedding. We did not have to worry about a thing. My bridal attendant went so above and beyond for us, making sure we had water and food throughout the whole day, that we liked our signature drinks and that we had enough to eat during cocktail hour. The staff and bartenders were also amazing - so friendly and attentive with all of our guests the whole night. Our guests are still talking about how amazing all of the food was. We had our guests stay on site at the hotel as well as the guest house on site and I would highly recommend both. It was so much fun to have our closest friends and family on site leading up to the wedding and the morning after. Overall my husband and I would not change a thing about our wedding day and cannot recommend Hotel du Village enough!

She was so responsive and she nailed everything we asked for and then some. She truly made our experience wonderful, not to mention the awesome service on the day of the event. My husband and I along with our guests were very impressed with the professional, friendly service from all of the waiters and bartenders. Our guests couldn't get over the view from the solarium for the cocktail hour and the food throughout the whole night. We couldn't have asked for a better day or a better event manger to work with! I cannot say enough to praise Kerri and Frank for their beautiful space, their attention to detail, their immense care and love for the work that they do and for every single person who enters their space. Kerri's precision and focus is unmatched and you truly feel like the only person in the room when you speak to her. Every single question went answered and each detail attended to with precision. The food here is immaculate and even a month later people continue to ask me to ask Chef Charlie for his recipes. The words "hidden gem" have never meant more than for this venue. I cannot recommend this enough and will forever be shouting from the rooftops that Kerri is a true dream maker. If you tell her exactly what you want, she will make it happen. It will still take work on your end but it will all be worth it. If you meet the deadlines she sets, you will have a smooth and seamless planning process.

The W Loft is a great venue for anyone having a smaller wedding/event who wants beautiful city views. I had a wonderful October wedding here and was very fortunate to avoid rain so my guests could make use of the balcony. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that this is a very weather dependent venue. Had it been rain and we’d be limited to inside space only, it would have been a little too cramped. We loved working with Jane. She is very personable as well as incredibly knowledgeable. The venue is incredible, it truly has been crafted with the couple in mind. There were so many Pinterest worthy moments. We saw Midway Arches almost a full 2 years before we had our ceremony and we could not get it out of our heads. We could not have asked for a better venue.

I cant begin to put into words how perfect my wedding was at Public! Lauren and the team were so patient in the planning stages, they made the process fun instead of overwhelming. All the the details were brought to life and everyone was willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect! The staff is friendly and welcoming and made all of my guests feel at home. The food was perfect! The service was 5 start and overall the team and the venue that is so unbelievably beautiful made my dream wedding a reality and I cant thank everyone enough! I will always think of Public whenever needing a venue for a special event in the future!!

Parque Ridley Creek was such an amazing venue for our romantic, fairytale wedding and we cannot say enough good things about Peachtree or any of the staff we worked with throughout the whole wedding planning process. The venue is gorgeous and we got so many compliments from our wedding guests about how beautiful and unique the setting is. Lindsay was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process from meeting her and the tasting to answering all of my emails and questions she was organized and so thorough. The Peachtree catering food was also so delicious. The whole staff associated with this venue are top notch and made both the planning process a breeze and made our wedding day amazing. We would recommend Parque without hesitation!

What a dream our wedding was. Everything was absolutely perfect and it all started with The Farmhouse. The venue itself its absolutely stunning, such a clean slate to work with that you can basically decorate it in any fashion you want and it will look beautiful. Communication with Deborah was quick, easy and painless. She answered any and every question I had. The food was fantastic! All of our guests couldnt stop raving about the food. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking at the Farmhouse as their venue, you will not be disappointed!

We just got married in January 2020 and were lucky enough to find the Library Hotel in our venue search. Our wedding had 25 guests and was the most wonderful intimate wedding on their enclosed rooftop 14th floor area. The Poetry Garden was the perfect ceremony location with beautiful outdoor views and gorgeous lighting, while the Writer's Den was wonderful for our reception, right on the same floor with a long single table set up, enough room to dance, and was a beautiful space to begin with so we didn't need to do much to decorate. Margo was a dream to work with, always communicative and so helpful on the day of. No need to hire a DOC here -- Margo went above and beyond to help us set up, handle delivery with vendors, pass on our tips, coordinate our music timing, etc. The waitstaff and bar team were absolutely amazing, and the lead bartender was very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The rooms at the hotel were gorgeous and the staff left us presents in the form of chocolate and champagne on our wedding day. The outdoor patio was available for us to take pictures in the middle of the winter while it was snowing and you can see the New York Public Library from there. I highly recommend this space for anyone looking for an intimate wedding venue wiith catering and bar provided in-house. We visited a few other venues and none compared.

Gran Morsi is a lovely restaurant that has two great spaces for private events. It is bright and inviting, and a lot can be done to transform the space to your colors or theme. The food and beverages are excellent, your guests won't be disappointed. The staff (including Brooke (the Events Director) are all fantastic - they're attentive, easy to work with, and go above and beyond to make sure your event is successful.

Brooklyn Greens went the extra mile to make sure our Rehearsal/Welcome Drinks was perfect. Everything was personalized, and little touches were added (to our surprise) which made it all the more special. They were so easy to work with as well. Our guests were able to have a blast, feel welcomed, and leave having had plenty of snacks and beverages. 10/10 recommend.

Yes! CHOOSE THIS VENUE!! You’ve found the right place! We are finally getting around to posting our review about the most perfect wedding venue we could have imagined! We saw Maple Shade November ‘22 when we were ‘shopping’ for a wedding venue; choosing it was a no brainer. The barn itself is unique and different than any others we have seen and it comes with everything. Dining area upstairs, separate from the cocktail hour, dancing, downstairs bar, lounge area, game room (this place has it all!). Long farm tables are gorgeous within themselves and need minimal decorations. And with the venue having SO MUCH on site, there was no need for us to order and prepare any other decor items like we would have needed at some of the ‘Blank Canvas’ barns we initially considered. The barn sits on acres and acres of land, giving you the option of where to have your ceremony, we chose right in front of the pond where our wedding party had a grand entrance from the large barn doors. MAGICAL! Enough about the venue, although we hope this paints an accurate picture! Everything you could need is there!! More importantly, Jay and Abby Wilson (owners of Maple Shade) are absolute rockstars. From our first visit and follow up phone call, we knew working together would be a breeze. They were helpful in our initial planning stages, helping us plan different details, offering extremely helpful advice. Wedding day they were like conductors of an orchestra, making sure everyone and everything were in place and running according to plan. It was PERFECT! And when uncontrollable things don’t go to plan, they had us covered! On our wedding day in late July, there was a high percentage of rain expected only during the time of our ceremony; Jay and Abby made the call that morning to put up a tent and made all the adjustments needed without causing bride and groom any extra stress… THANK GOD they did - it literally monsooned during the ceremony, like nothing we've seen before at an outdoor wedding! (Just a fluke storm rolling though). They reminded us that as a bride and groom getting married at their venue, they make the same decisions for us and our guests that they would make for their own children. They are kind and caring and so fun, and certainly know how to run a wedding venue. We respected, trusted and appreciated all their knowledge and hard work. It’s definitely not their first rodeo! As we will continue to call this day "the best day ever," we are very grateful to Jay and Abby for all of their help, attention to detail, and their ability to see and understand our vision for the most perfect wedding we could have imagined. Ps- they made a few recommendations for supplementary vendors (catering, DJ, bartenders) and all their recommendations were also HOME RUNS! It was such a smooth operation.
