“We are so happy we chose Jeff and Mystic River Entertainment for our wedding at the Delamar Mystic.
We spoke with several DJs during our planning process, but what ultimately drew us to Mystic River Entertainment was how straightforward and transparent everything was. The packages and services were easy to understand, and as a local vendor, Jeff was incredibly familiar with the Mystic area. It felt like fate when we learned that he had actually been married on the same property before the hotel was built. Even though the Delamar Mystic was still a brand-new venue, Jeff was already familiar with the space, having worked one of the weddings during its first season.
From the start, Jeff was a pleasure to work with. He was communicative, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us create the wedding we envisioned. We were very particular about our music selections and had several unique requests, including surprise performances and custom audio files. Jeff was accommodating every step of the way. He provided thoughtful professional guidance when needed, but always respected our preferences and helped bring our vision to life.
Beyond the music itself, Jeff was instrumental in helping us personalize the event. He displayed our custom logo on the DJ booth, played a photo montage we created during the reception, and worked closely with us to coordinate a surprise musical performance by our friends by providing additional microphones and arranging a practice session during cocktail hour. He also allowed us to use a custom design for our photo booth prints, which added another personal touch for our guests.
On the wedding day, everything was fantastic. Jeff did an outstanding job as both our DJ and emcee. He kept the event flowing smoothly, made announcements at exactly the right times, and ensured guests always knew what was happening next. When we needed to make last-minute adjustments to the program, he adapted seamlessly and kept everything running without a hitch. We never had to worry about the timeline because he had everything under control.
The music was one of the highlights of the evening. Our family and friends loved the playlist, and we were especially impressed by how well our song selections were mixed and transitioned throughout the night. Jeff has an excellent ability to read the room and keep the energy exactly where it needs to be. The dance floor stayed packed, and every part of the evening felt perfectly paced.
We also received numerous compliments on the photo booth. There was a minor hiccup with the printer, but Jeff and his assistant responded immediately and handled the issue professionally, which speaks volumes about their commitment to their clients and their guests' experience.
