With his background in nightlife event production as Music Director and resident DJ at Shrine Nightclub inside Foxwoods, Jason combines the high energy, smooth transition mixing style of a nightclub DJ with the refined experience and fun playlist of a wedding DJ to keep the dance floor rocking! All of our DJ's come from this background of skilled mixing.     Danced the night away!

    We attended a wedding that Jason DJ'd and knew we wanted him to be a part of our wedding. Jason was easy to communicate with, organized, and knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding vibe. On our wedding day, he was a great presence, kind, attentive, and rolled with any changes that came up. The flow throughout the night was perfectly emceed by Jason. Our guests has an incredible time dancing the night away-- he provided a perfect balance of oldies, nostalgic throwback songs, classic dance music, and new pop. 10 out of 10 would recommend Dawson Entertainment Productions!

    AMAZING!

    Jason is incredible! All I wanted for our wedding was a full dance floor all night, and Jason absolutely delivered! From the very beginning, he was personable, professional, and communicative. He did an amazing job as our DJ and kept the party going all night long! Jason provided the music and microphone setup for our outdoor ceremony, as well as the music for our cocktail hour and reception. Everything was perfect from start to finish! Our guests are still talking about how amazing Jason was and how much fun they had. I would highly recommend Dawson Entertainment to any couple looking for a wedding DJ. Jason helped make our wedding so special, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

    AMAZING

    TJ was AMAZING!! His communication leading up to the event was excellent, he delivered on audio for ceremony and cocktail hour, help facilitate speeches and first dances once we moved into the reception space, and was SO FUN once the dancing got started. The dance floor was still packed when the reception ended, and people have not stopped commenting on how amazing he was. We have been to a lot of weddings, and it would be hard to top TJ.

    We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! He did an amazing job keeping everyone on the dance floor and making sure everything ran smoothly. It's never a bad thing to listen to guest request, but we do use our best judgment to decide if we actually play a request or not, based on our past experience playing the song and our conversations with you, the couple hosting the event. Even if a song request will not quite fit the vibe of the event, it may guide us to play something similar that would work for the dance floor.

Yes. We are happy to provide proof of insurance if you or your venue request it.
We arrive 1.5-2 hours before our start time for set up. We like to give plenty of time so we don't have to rush.
Yes, we can provide full Uplighting, Pin Spots, Monograms, Marquee Letters and Mirror Photo Booth!
All taxes are included in the price.
We do not charge for setup or break down. We only charge from the time we start playing music at the beginning of the event until we stop playing music at the end of the event. Our travel radius is 2 hours from Griswold, CT. Anything beyond that would require a travel fee and/or hotel accommodations.
First and foremost, we’re lovers of music and we started DJing to share that love with the world. We come from a nightclub background with a focus on playing music that makes people dance! We use our smooth nightclub mixing and blending techniques to make every transition between songs smooth, seamless and interesting to keep the energy up so there is always a fun vibe on the dance floor.
