He has a calm demeanor, is a great listener, and provided us with prompt/proactive communication which we really appreciated. The month before the wedding we met with Martin and he gave feedback on songs/confirmed the vibe we were going for. Let me just say he absolutely knocked it out of the park!!! The dance floor was packed all night which was exactly what we wanted. Everyone has commented on how great he was, telling us that he was the best DJ they've ever heard at a wedding - we even had one couple go up to him before the exit asking if he would be open to playing at their wedding next year (HA!). We cannot recommend Martin enough!! He made our day so memorable not only for us, but our guests. He was one of the biggest highlights of our day by far.”

While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “BEST DJ EVER!! Our entire experience with Mixology was amazing! They were super communicative so we didn’t have to repeatedly reach out to get a response from them which I really appreciated. Planning: They give you an app to use in which you can answer questions about your timeline and even import songs directly from Spotify or find on YouTube. It was super user friendly! Our assigned DJ, Angel reached out to use for a quick planning call a couple weeks before our wedding. He was prepared, super friendly and excited about our wedding. We ended the call being super thrilled to have an energetic DJ and felt very confident. Wedding Day: DJ ANGEL KILLED IT!! I’m Hispanic but my husband is white so I wanted all announcements in Spanish and English plus lots of Spanish music. He blended everything so well and picked the funnest songs! Our guests were raving about him and my sister who is getting married also booked him as a result. We had added a custom monogram light display plus the dance on a cloud feature and WOW! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Worth every penny! I did tons of research beforehand and even listened to mixtapes before booking a DJ. Nothing is worse than hearing a DJ with an awful transition or lame songs but this was not the case. I had zero issues with Mixology and will always HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!”
